I read somewhere that those green brillo pads work best and you gotta scrub hard to get rid of the dead skin cells. Is there any truth to that or will that just likely irritate my skin?

When I had ingrowns I tried everything from using exfoliant soaps to using those scrubs to kill dead skin. Ultimately it only lessened the itchiness and ingrowns by a bit and i didn't find it worth. I assume it just takes time for the hair on your body to react. Same thing happened when I first shaved my pubes, really itchy the first two or three shaved but after that it becomes normal. Just gotta keep on shaving.

It's not for everyone, be wary. If you have sensitive skin it'll hurt you, and I don't mean in a good way.
Most reports are people having amazing results and using it forever, however my skin is very sensitive, I get bruises, scratches and marks from seriously nothing even though I'm not on estrogens or anything, pure testosterone flows through my veins, but when I used that shit it was irritating and slightly burning and I thought it was just doing its job, until afterwards I was left with chemical burns that lasted a full pain for 3 days that wouldn't go away and the scarring stayed for a month.

If your skin is sensitive like me, don't use it. Otherwise go nuts and happy results. The report rate for success is like 97% or 98% or something so it's worth the chance, just first time around try somewhere small. I did my public bone region and lower stomach to give it a try so I could look down and see the effects.

Idk about whiteners but vitamin C creams and ointments can lighten your skin and help make scars fade away, you just have to look for the ones that have the right form of vitamin C. You should also obviously avoid the sun and wear sunscreen when you go out. Just make sure you get enough vitamin D in your diet.

you might want to seek out a dermatologist to determine how to best treat your scalp hair thinning problem (find out if it's male pattern baldness or something else)
if it's male pattern baldness, you can get on finasteride (propecia) to help stop the thinning
and minoxidil (rogaine is one brand of this, though they have cheaper brands as well)(it comes in 2% or 5%, 5% is for males only and generally works better) can help for over-the-counter treatment
i don't remember which application method of minoxidil shows the best results; just do whichever one you feel comfortable doing every day (for best results, apply twice a day)
and finasteride is very likely more effective than minoxidil, and many would advise taking fina over mino (or both if you have the money and commitment)
these are the only two fda approved methods of helping stop hair thinning, everything else is either still being tested or proven to be ineffective
considering that the cause of most hair thinning is likely some dht (testosterone stuff), hormones could feasibly help with this, albeit through less of a targeted attack and more of helpful collateral when nuking your testosterone levels
one more note: it takes a long time to see any changes, and it's best to keep an eye on your hairline to see how the progress is going, should you decide to do anything about it

I took minoxidil for a few years to very minimal effect. Hair strands were still coming out, and at most there was some very light stubble on the edge of my hairline. I ended up just stopping recently because I've been getting insanely bad dandruff from it too. Do you think finasteride has any chance of saving it? Also I hear it kills your sex drive. finasteride is plan a for most people who see a dermatologist (assuming they have male pattern baldness or something similar), but it doesn't work on everyone (like most drugs)
as a plan c (b being minoxidil), you can get hair transplants, though i don't know a whole lot about those
i would encourage you to read the side effects of finasteride before actually going that route, but in my personal experience it killed my sex drive for about two weeks and then stabalized to normal levels

I don't think I was using the extra strength the whole time. I started out with the foam for maybe a year, and then switched over to the extra strength stuff. I was indeed using it twice a day, though I will admit I wasn't flawless on that aspect. I would miss a time or two every once in a while. Once I stopped taking it, the dandruff went away, so I assume that was the cause.

If you wind up going on HRT your hair growth will slow down with generic AA, if you add Estrogens into the mix then you'll likely only need to shave every 4 or 5 days, and epilating/waxing would be like, every 3 or 4 weeks where as testosterone you'd be waxing/epilating every week and a half. Keep in mind not only with estrogens, your hair will actually get thinner too but the blackness wont fade though.

True, but I'm not noticing thinning all along the front like my dad did; it's really just one temple, and not much there. If all the short hairs phased out, it would be a mature hairline, but it would be reckless to assume it'll stop there, especially since the other side has no thinning at all. Well, not at the top at least -- it's thinning, but in the area to the left of my eye in a C-shape. The hairline itself is actually still an up-side down U on that side. Or at least, half of one.

and hair grows in cycles, so it could be that the hairs you notice are missing are in the growing phase (under the skin) or were ripped out through rough contact in the shedding phase, as is typical
if you've kept photographic tabs on your hair and notice it moving back with time, i would definitely recommend talking to a doctor about the options

if you think you're going to be losing your hair anyway, and it's important to you, why not take measures to prevent this loss? if, by some unluckiness, fina/mino doesn't work, you would have lost that hair anyway (assuming you're losing hair at all)
and, as a final resort, there are hair implant surgerie(s) that can be done, but i don't know a lot about that
and if none of those work, wigs/toupées are also an option, as well as changing your style and/or accepting your fate, depending on how you feel

I used to use a 5$ razor set, pack of 4. The brand is Soleil, and they did well but I could cut myself rather easily with them, anywhere on my body, not just my privates. Then I saw another pack next to them, the 'razor guard' (outer plastic pieces, the parts that usually have a type of glide or lube or whatever on them) were like 4x larger, and they had an extra blade, but they were 8$ for 3.

Well, that shit is magical. I can scrape my arms and body and genitals like I'm trying to grate cheese and I can't cut myself unless it's on parts where bone sticks out (wrist bone and elbow), and I just... shave my crotch and privates no problem.

Biggest issue I've had though, is maybe because I'm a bit on the fatter side, is that on the back of my thighs and my butt, I can't get an entirely smooth shave; So I'll do the field work with the 8$ razor, and then I'll taut my skin and go over with the 5$ razors because they're closer to the skin, but more dangerous obviously, but I get a smoother shave in doing this.

Due to the guard size of the 8$ ones, I can't shave right into my butthole so I have to use the 5$ ones.

Try look for women's razors that have an obnoxiously large size on the razor guard.

but as you go, the smaller muscles will strengthen and your butt will be able to get more tired out, since you'll be able to wok out with heavier loads and/or longer workout sessions
how long have you been doing these exercises?
also, you're working out more than just your butt with almost every exercise, so make sure you're cycling muscle groups and not tiring out one group repeatedly

When it comes to hormones: How do you guys feel about the fetish vs. trans arguement? I've seen hormones for non-trans use be frowned upon by both non-mones femboys, and trans alike; but, I dont understand how just wanting to LOOK feminine for sexual, and self-satisfaction reasons is worse than outright considering yourself part of the opposite gender.
