Gay white men who don't want to sleep with gay black men are not racists. They are prejudice and discriminating, but not racists. Racism is a set of practices and beliefs that creates or maintains a power structure of racial superiority. However white men denying black men sex does not maintain a power structure since a hook up or relationship does not add or take away power from one group on another. It does not promote superiority because there is no gain beyond sex, gay is not an institution therefore discrimination does not feed into the greater institution of racism. No one is preventing gay men from having interracial relationships, it doesn't support a power structure. Some gay men have a prejudice based preference for someone the same race.
