Christmas is around the corner and I want a new toy. But I'm uncertain on what to get.

Should I get a DPMS GII SASS or the the Rugar Precision. both are .308, both take the 20 and 25 rnd pmag, price is roughly the same, my goal is long range accurate shooting since I hunt decent sized game but also enjoy shooting 700+ yards out.

I just never ended up buying an optic for that rifle. It was going to wear a 1-4, then a 1-6, then for about a month I was going to put a NF 2.5-10 on it, now I'm back to thinking about a 1-6.
