Scratching loaded cartridges and bullets is normal, it's the brass riding the lug slots in the receiver extension. Your ejected cases will have another one or two scratches down the side from the extractor dragging the round across more lugs on the way out too.

If you gently load by hand and use your finger to hold the brass off the lugs during extraction then you can prevent scratching. You would do this if you were trying to locate a burr in the chamber for example, and didn't want more scratches "contaminating" the brass before inspection.

It illustrates why you should load each round the same way for accuracy's sake; else they may be defaced differently enough to affect accuracy. It can also cause the first shot to deviate from the subsequent shots in a group, because it was loaded by hand rather than automatically.

Buffer tubes ruin the compactness of folding rifles, add a large hollow space and ruin the sight line of 90% of rifles they are put on.
Pistol lights have shitty exposed back switches, terrible mounting systems and generally take up more space than an equivalent rifle light.

Probably the Maxim pistol brace, it's the only other brace I would consider. It looks good, and it's design serves a purpose.

The Sig version is not as compact, it is as long as a standard stock and buffer tube, do not buy.
