The side rail, there are two and three slot variants, with and without a palm swell.
All the two slots I've seen don't have a spot for a heat shield to be properly fitted (beyond just laying one in it)

As for the 2 slot, there was a 3 slot available from another seller when I bought mine, with heat shield. It was $30 more and he had pretty low feedback though so I got the 2 slot. I've been meaning to cut it for a heat shield but I don't really need it and am afraid I'll fuck it up.
