If that's the case, just get a fixed stock and a triangle handguard. Everyone else is going to tee, but unless you're making 60k a year or more, going full autismo on detail isn't going to make it more fun or interesting to shoot. Get an upper with a fixed handguard if it's an important enough detail to bug you. The rest of the differences come down to some very minor detailing.

Essentially, you will be paying a huge premium on a period correct upper and lower. There will be no mechanical difference besides the lack of a forward assist. You'll save yourself between 500 and 750 dollars by not going full detail which is money much better spent on ammo and range time for a beginner. shop around for a complete lower receiver with a fixed m16 style stock. Ask some local shops as even if you mail order, it has to go to a local FFL anyways. Bro tier gun stores will happily special order themselves for you. You likely won't find a complete upper with a triangle handguard without finding some overpriced, niche product. It could end up being cheaper to just ship a complete upper and swap the hand guards yourself. If you get a flat top upper then you'll need a hand guard too.
Babies first m16 is stock, fixed handguard (which is something you can compromise on), and triangle grips.

I grew up always having labs and after first 6 months or so they were always fine on their own. Unless you leave food somewhere easily accessible. Then no matter what they'll try to get it.

Labs are fucking great, but too many people let them get fat or aren't aware of their hip and joint issues which is made worse by letting their dogs get so overweight.

Oh yeah, loved my labs too. They were great dogs and were pretty chill but we gave them good attention and training. It really helped us to reward our dogs for going in their crate when we told them to and try not use it as a punishment. Bailey will go in hers just to take a nap sometimes since it's out of the way and quiet.

I'm trying to remove the barrel from a PSA upper but my entire body weight is insufficient to spin the nut off. I've tried putting the entire upper in the freezer, I've taken a torch to the barrel nut, everything. I'm afraid that if I resort to using a cheater bar I run the risk of breaking stuff.
