I have a severe astigmatism in my dominant eye. I need suggestions for some non-magnified/very low magnification red dot substitutes. Not trying to get anything over 1.25x.

I was in /akg/ yesterday, and got some recommendations for either the rakurs or PK-AS with a 1913 rail mount.

Etched reticle is the name of the game. Price isn't a concern, not like I can be picky anyways.

Why does the sun rise in the Northeast and set in the Northwest, well above the Tropic of Cancer?

At its Northernmost declination, the sun appears directly over the Tropic of Cancer at noon, at the 23rd parallel. But I'm on the 45th parallel and the sun sets even farther North than me, at around 290 degrees, far enough to directly illuminate the North side of my house.

The solar arrangement is not doing anything perceptibly different than what it was doing 5, 50 or 500 years ago. So what phenomenon is causing the sun to APPEAR farther North than when it rises and sets?

I have astigmatisms as well, red dots are always streaks without my glassies. When I put this magnifier behind my RMR, it turned into a perfect dot. WITHOUT MY GLASSORS.

Blew my mind. Like if it's visible, my eyes should be fucking it up because the damage is in my eyes, not the optic. But nope. Prismatic magnifier made it optically perfect.

tl;dr Get a 1x prismatic etched reticle """dot""" and you will be fine. Also get glasses.
