The stocks are structurally and ergonomically sound desu. They just look ugly as shit, like an ice-pick, and doesn't offer the god-tier cheekweld of a SOPMOD or LWRC stock.

It's uselessly huge, needlessly expensive and has inaccessible, pointless compartments that just waste even more space and weight. It's almost twice as wide as it needs to be, and the comb is so tall your face can't even touch the bottom half when you have a proper cheek weld with proper eye relief.

Though it was a leap forward over M4 waffle stocks many years ago, it's one of the worst stocks to exist in the current year. We are spoiled for choice now, there is absolutely no reason to suffer a SOPMOD.

SOPMOD Bravo is better in every way, and even it is falling behind these days as fads and needs change.

A SOPMOD is not any more complicated to produce than a MOE SL for example, which costs half as much, has a nicer fit on a wider range of receiver extensions, more features, better finish, more colors and no mold lines.

SOPMOD comes in 2 colors, doesn't self-adjust, has sometimes sharp mold lines, and until recently didn't even come with a QD socket.
