I held a Gen4 G17 at the LGS a couple of times and I've shot A2s Gen3 G17 and I can honestly say the Gen4 fit my hand better. I like finger grooves but it is of course personal taste. Oh and resale should be slightly better. If I'm getting the Gen3 G17 for $91 out the door I doubt I'll be able to sell it for any more than $100 myself when the time comes.
