I'm trying to reverse engineer this bizarre combinatorics equation at work right now. Gives adjustments to an x and y coordinate as a combination (deltaX choose deltaY) is equal to a scalar that is computed by a bizarre weighted average of pixel intensities. That is what the paper describes at least but the actual code looks like a pure weighted average, deltaX is equal to the pixel intensity weighted average along the x axis, and the same for y. Plus the morons claim your averaging window needs to be odd in dimension but I don't think that has anything to do with the averaging algorithm but rather just the code wanting integer indices for the loops.

At the end of the day I'm all trying to show is that the digitization limit is around ~7*10^-9 meters, which is what the data shows. Eventually I should hunt down the weird emergent digitization of the position record that appears to be happening at the 1*10^-6 meter scale. Position record groups at 20, 21, 22, 23 micro meters etc, but those groups have internal variance up to the nanometer digitization limit.

It is all pretty gay honestly.

Well look at how the Larue locks onti the rail, its a friction/tension mount that you tighten with a wrench, even the QD model. Compare that to a Bobro--they adjust automatically without having to do any manual tightening.

Hey gents, been looking around for pricing on my first AR, so far it looks like my best option would be to build on from a rifle kit and supply my own lower. Looking at a PSA mid-length w/ stainless barrel for the kit. Trying to source the lower locally to avoid FFL transfer fees and shipping.

Currently the most inexpensive non-polymer lowers I can find are Anderson Manufacturing stripped lower and a CORE15 stripped lower. Anyone have anything to say about either one? They are both ~$68 after taxes.
