I swapped out the trigger control housing for the metal trigger control housing, put the enhanced safety on it, and got some vintage wood furniture and refinished it myself. All in all, it wasn't an expensive project.

Idk, never owned a Bersa but /k/ fucking loves them. I would trust the Bersa Thunder in .380 because they're built hardier to be safe with a centerfire cartridge but I'm wary of cheapo .22s I haven't used because a LOT of .22 pistols are extremely finicky. I'd say most are.

Why don't you have a look through the Walther section at Simpson LTD? You might find a REAL PP in .22 at a price you can stomach.
