Got my first waffle in today, snagged it well under the going price and I really like it. Near-perfect finish on one side with great stamps, BFPU on the other. Really completes the rough Middle Eastern look of my Maadi even more than an actual Maadi mag.

It really is. The "wear" isn't even really wear; the finish is perfectly smooth and seamless between the black and faded areas. The actual points of wear on the feed lips and locking lug are noticeably different in color. Makes me think there was some kind of issue with the paint application that day and they just didn't bother to reprint it.

Love it. Havent found gas setting 1 to work with anything though. Basically turns it a bolt action with ZQI brass 762x51. Only shot up to maybe 100 yards with irons. Pretty acurate. Can probably do better that i have perscription glasses now.

So I managed to get out to the desert today to shoot and test the chinese RS Regulate copy today, unsurprisingly the mount did not hold up and came loose after 120rds of 5.45. Though the upper optic mounts seem to hold up well, might just keep them to use on my actual RS regulate.
