There will be 2 characters on the slide to the left ot he serial, this is the year of manufacture.
A=0
B=1
C=2
etc

In pic related it is BG which translates to 16 meaning 2016 production.
>what years are more sought after?
Doesnt really matter but if its a 99 with lots of slide wear that might make sense, if its a 2014 with a whole bunch of wear it might be worth avoiding. USP is a strong pistol that will outlast you, so aside from checking obvious shit it should be problem free. Price generally depends on condition and caliber, with a new .45 fetching the most and a beat to shit trade in .40 fetching the least
>>
>>34047746
Took the bit on the right in pic related and just milled out a little channel for some real thin zip ties. I could have just zip tied it to the upper, but I thought this looked a little cleaner.

So /arg/ I've been toying with an idea recently, I've decided I want to build a new upper this summer since as a college student I'll have more hours. My idea is I want to get an 18 inch Aero complete upper (sans BCG) with M-LOK handguards. I like the idea of 18 inches because rifle gas and smooth operation plus max velocity out of cheap ammo. I'd be running a red dot mostly because I prefer them but with some QD mounts I think it would be possible to scope it and have a decent medium range hunting rifle.
Tell me how shit my idea is.

you're going to lose something like 40% of the light's power running AAs. If your light can run both, that's great, keep it in mind for when WROL and you gotta SHEEPDAWG, but you should be feeding the lights 123s if you can get them for max efficacy.
