I've seen that Leupold and some other company have made very handy thermals to make tracking hit animals easier in brush, but as far as I know, they won't handle recoil impulses of most rifles. I'd like to see affordable non shitty rifle mounted thermals become a thing.

Match ammo and multiple calibers make it worthwhile. Plinking...not so much imo. Wolf is a cheaper plink and you don't have to pick up the brass, size, prep and so on. If you have calibers like 8mm and 30-06 then the benefits are really seen.

Lon Horiuchi, the Ruby Ridge sniper Troy hired, directly defied orders to fire on an unverified target through a closed door knowing full well there were unarmed small children on the premises, was reprimanded and eventually fired for cause for it through his agency and indicted for criminal charges twice (though never convicted due to fuckery with sovereign immunity the first time and a new DA sucking the fed's dick the second time).

He basically did everything wrong, knowing full well what he was doing was wrong before he did it, and directly against a direct order from both the incident commander and his (senior) spotter.

He then went on to participate in Waco, where he bragged about shooting an unarmed kid in the back just because he could.

>>
>>33999183
obviously not to boot-licking fags like you, but to those who give a shit about the country, it's laws, individual liberty, and/or the integrity of our justice system.. yeah it matters a good deal.
>>
>>33999170
his 1k light turns on with a different button on the pressure switch

even if you use the IR mode on the WMX200 (silly imo, will explain later) that means your threat discrimination process is
>see someone
>hit button for light
>oh shiddd, is talib
>move finger and hit button for laser
>pew pew pew pew pew (assuming there's enough light to see a silhouette to even shoot at, if not then you're just fucked)

Whereas if you set the PEQ to IR las + IR illum, you can make it much smoother:
>see someone
>hit button for IR light and laser
>oh shiddd is talib
>pew pew pew pew pew

The reason you want the WMX200 set to vis light and not IR by default (even under NODs) is that if someone turns a white light on you, your NODs are likely useless. So the immediate action drill is to look under or over your NODs, activate your white light for PID (so you can actually see that you're shooting a bad guy and not his kid with a flashlight), and engage with your day optic. If your flashlight is set to IR, what happens is that you can't fucking see shit and either have to blindly shoot at a light (a recipe for babbykilling) or you just stand there fucking with the flashlight head until you eat AK rounds.
>>
>>33999224
lower receivers are all pretty much the same unless you get some special snowflake billet ones or some shit avoid at all costs polymer hybrid ones.

Most lower receivers come from the same place and if you pay more than $50-100 you're paying for the rollmark

>>
>>33999265
if it's the civvy one for sure
still better than nothing and imo still better than fucking around with 2 different switches. if you want to run separate light and IR laser i would advise using two separate pressure switches placed so that you can hit one with your thumb and the other with your index and middle fingers. this way you can at least activate them both simultaneously.

That fantasy Does Not last, you open the door to other people she wants and she will fuck you over with it eventually.

I wouldn't even expect my partner to put up with it from me as a source of worry.

I never will not worry about this because every case I've seen if it end the way I described. And the woman continues to fluidly move through men of her new lower moral caliber, exceeding these men in actual completely self centered depravity mixed with trying to fill this hole in the emotional heart with more awful and wondering why it doesn't work.

The only stable relationship I have seen with a person like that was from a guy who just really fucks anything and anyone he can get away with (gayest bi guy I know if). It's just she train wrecked a few guys lives before she just decided to stay in awful town. Like married and divorced because hubby isn't as depraved. I wasn't even the first guy she cheated on that poor slob with, but I learned her made up version of the world. And we "fell in love" and she told me the real story if her husband. I was vomitlly appalled and left her after saying I think it would be extremely wrong to do. Like karma would get me if I stayed with someone like her. Someone who lied to me alot at first.

She said she understood and gave me alot BS about working things out with hubby. Got him to buy her A New House, and then dumped him hard.

Don't trust liars. Don't EVER be scared to ask questions when you're suspicious. Their "refusal to dignify with an answer" responses Are Not acceptable. At this point, only people with something You Should Know say dismissive answers to questions of faithfulness, and general behavior.

Don't empower these awful people. And I can almost guarantee for any of you that your ideal girl isn't someone you'll meet while looking for her on the internet. That is really just the territory of people who want to prey on your loneliness or make you as hollow as themselves.
>>
>>33999755
Also, I think that the perfect person for you exists, but you gotta be working as hard as you want them to.

Like don't be a psyco. If you are one, get help. Work out, dang it.

I'm not sure if my experience is representative, but I don't like Bobro. Here is why. When I level scopes, I level the flat bottom of the scope to the flat of the mount. Ideally, the flat of the scope being parallel to the flat on the mount will mean, assuming the mount was machined this way, the bottom of the scope is also parallel to the rail itself. The Bobro I tested was not machined this way. The flat on the mount was not parallel to the rail. Again, I'm willing to chalk this up to a mistake as I'm sure Bobro knows that there is no reason the flat of the mount shouldn't be parallel to the rail.

Guys quick question, why do CASV handguards exist ? They're not free floating anything right ? I mean that's impossible considering there's a delta ring still ... right ?
>>
>>34000792
>>ive had shit for years that makes it good
not at all what I was trying to imply.
point was I bought it while I was a different person
I wouldn't buy them again, but they serve their purpose well enough since I have them.
>>
>>34000799

Because they're aesthetic
>>

Haven't taken mine out innawoods. Got it.... March? It's been to the range a few times and out for pictures, not enough for me speak with even dubious first hand experience. Planning on going durr hunting this fall.

Do they work if you don't have a fixed front sight, if there's nothing where the sight would be, would it still be able to be mounted ?
I can't find useful info on this and they are starting to look real good.
