From what I can tell the status of the cheek saddle plus shockwave is the same as it was before this letter. It is not a redesign of the brace before, and it is not a redesign now. Want to brace from the cheek? No problem. Want to brace from the forearm? No problem. Accidentally shoulder it? Now not a problem.

Considering to put a Mk12 mod 0 style sight (probably something cheaper than PRI) out on the barrel past the end of the free float tube, not acting as a gas block at all but just as a flip up sight.

This is going to be my first AR without a pinned FSB and concerned about sights mounted on the handguard losing its zero since it has no hard connection to the barrel.

is this even worth worrying about?
