I shot my AR for the first time and someone got a round stuck in the chamber after 150 rounds without failure. The bcg is sticking out by like half an inch and wont move either direction. I read about mortaring but I am not sure if it's safe to do at home.

Just got it out with an old aluminum sectional rod and a mallet. Didn't want to ruin my good carbon fiber one so I had to dig out the old rod. The stuck round is stamped TAA 09 with a NATO cross, but it might be a reload since my friend grabbed it from a giant plastic bag. I was shooting Freedom Reman 223 and 5.56 without issues.
