I think the couple times i've had the issue i was "riding the trigger", and i'm worried when it matters I might do it again. Looking for second opinions

Thinking about painting these receivers a different color. See the mags for the choices. However on the one I fucked up and did the exact same color as the receivers. It's coyote. I thought I did them in light coyote.

I think the middle matches the stock the best and if I added a coyote grip all three of those would be a close match. However contrast between parts may look better than matching. Or maybe I should just keep them the same color. I'll have a light coyote mag in a few hours once the paint dries a little

where it does literally nothing for heat or accuracy
this was because of some dumbasses hanging up barrel gages on the gas port and concluding incorrectly that a1 barrels were bending

since the A2 changes were designed by marines, and since marines are a special kind of stupid, they tried their hardest to design a perfect match target rifle instead of a combat rifle, because muh every marine a rifleman

the rear sight has a superfluous amount of adjustment and two different apertures, one too large and one too small, the front sight changed to a larger squared off post, great for target shooting on a static range but retarded for combat

the stock was lengthened by .75'' and the buttpad shape changed, again better for target shooting but retarded for combat

the A2 grip is the most uncomfortable grip ever designed
