Has custom charging handle on it so scope isn't in the way. Has nice muzzle break on it. I have a brand new black hard case with 4 clamp down locks on it, I have 10 custom stippled 30rnd PMAGS for it and 480rnds of Light Armor Piercing m855 62gr 5.56 ammo for it. I also have a spotting scope on tripod I'll toss in. Gun has never been fired, I just got it all done how I wanted it but need to sell to put $ towards a new vehicle. $2500 FIRM for everything. I have their phosphate/manganese bolt, it's good. I mean, it's kind of hard to fuck up a simple mil spec bolt, but everything is finished very nice and clean, no rough edges or tool marks anywhere. One of my rifles has an SP1 upper with the original 1:12 barrel.

I'm thinking of putting the old barrel away for a rainy day and putting on a 1:7, 8, or 9 barrel so it is not limited to 55 grains.

Will an A2 style barrel have any issues fitting under the triangular hand guards, or any such gotchas?

I appreciate it, I built it with the intent to be a working carbine, no Gucci parts here. I also got one of the Ergo AT grips in that order to PA. I like the B5 grip but its too slick. Maybe someday I'll get the urge for a SOPMOD stock but I'm OK with the Bravo right now. I hope it retains it's point-ability with the new dot, it aims really well right now for a 16" barrel.

I'm fond of yours, is it pinned or did you tax stamp it?

Hey /arg/, building my first AR. I was looking at a 20" barrel with a 1:8 twist rate when i noticed this particular combo, and even this twist rate, was not too common. Why isn't 1:8 more common? It seems like a good compromise twist, so I can shoot stuff like 55g m193 and also heavier stuff up to 77g or so. Am I missing something?
