Exactly. They make an automated 650 that's even cheaper. If you buy in bulk and on sale, you can get to the break-even point pretty quick on that.

Why tho. You're just rubbing salt in the wounds of those who were too slow to get in on the greatest deal of the decade.

lean from your mistakes. This is why you should never leave /k/, not even for a minute.
>>
>>33435814
The 5.56 went out of stock before the .223, it's been unavailable for like an hour, I think it's just a glitch since it was doing the same thing while anons were still placing orders for the .223.

>>33435842
Its not, its the system recycleing the orders of people who reuppped and added another 1k rounds.
With that shit going up and down, id be some peoples orders are going to get shafted since stock bounced so much.
also, 5.56 is back up on site.

To everybody panic-switching from the .223 to 5.56 55gr:

DON'T FUCKING DO IT

The 5.56 is maybe ~100fps faster out of a 16" barrel but that's it. Accuracy, etc is all very comparable.

Again, if blowing $100 breaks your emergency fund then you have two issues
You fund isn't enough
You don't have any money left for expenses right now
>>
>>33437923
Slightly decreases the shipping cost (or ends up costing the same total amount, which means free hat)
>>
>>33437923
It makes the shipping cheaper, any item with free shipping from Midway does for whatever reason. Or at least when the orange one was on clearance it did, I think with the gray one it actually added a dollar or two to the cost.

Either way if I'm going to fuck them over by using a coupon they obviously didn't mean to release, I might as well give them a little advertising.
>>
my cousin works at Midway, says he's already got an email about this. your shit is getting cancelled tomorrow.
>>
>>33437926
You're missing the key concept here, and because of it I can only assume you are financially irresponsible. You don't spend funds from an emergency fund on something that isn't an emergency, regardless of how much it is.

You're missing the key concept that op has already fucked up budgeting for the month as apparently $100 dips into an emergency fund.
Even if he didn't we are drawn back into $100 out of an emergency fund shattering it. If your funds are so low that $100 makes a huge difference then purchasing a motorcycle at this point wholly in cash was a mistake.

Even when people threaten to never shop at a store again if they cancel no one gives a shit. There are always other people to take your place and someone who threatens that in the first place probably never buys from there to begin with.
>>
>>33438570
Stuff was autogenerated by their system. Once someone with authority to say "pull all that shit" comes back on Monday morning all those orders are kaput. To be honest even if it makes it onto the truck they can always recall the orders for a small fee from the shipping carrier. Even if it's on the final truck to drop off at your house if it is marked RTS and the driver sees it they will turn it around. Sometimes even come back and pick it back up from your porch. Most recently Dell did that with some mistakenly discounted SSDs and only a lucky few who had drivers who didn't give a shit got them.

Reloading generally is cheaper. I load for $170 per K (with good components) so this actually isn't that far off. But, my ammo is "match grade" where this is 2-4 MOA blasting ammo.

It's probably automated once it's marked as shipped. You can still have your order cancelled and your money refunded at any time.

Everyone's best hope is if they feel like it's too much of a hassle to cancel the orders

Oh and if you've chosen the slow shipping that makes your order the most vulnerable too. The classic way to do things when trying to sneak one by someone (ie. stolen credit card usage) is to choose expedited shipping so they pack and ship it ASAP and so it gets delivered to you sooner. For stolen CCs it's so a redirect can't be done in time after the real owner of a card calls their bank.

>>
>>33438856
Only if you don't account for the time you spend reloading. Even if you only value your time at minimum wage you're barely saving any money unless you have a fairly expensive progressive reloader, and there's more than just the cost of the press. Scales are ~$100 for a decent one, then you have case prep which will be another ~$300 if you get an electric trimmer (the only way if you're reloading bulk). So you're in for almost $1000 before you load a single round.

Then if you account for your time, even as low as minimum wage, it's still taking you so long from dirty used case, to clean loaded round that you're maybe saving a few cents a round while starting $1000 in the negative.

tldr; reloading isn't actually cheaper for bulk plinking ammo. It's a labor of love.

Expect it to be cancelled and just treat it as a bonus if it goes through. I assumed this wouldn't actually work the whole time but went ahead and ordered a couple cans because why not.

The reviews said the primers were kinda shit. Still...

>mfw
>>
>>33443191
The reviews on the 223 are solid. Idk how reloading works so I don't know if they use the same primers so it could have been a bad batch. Plus I usually shoot steel so I'm used to a couple of failures when I buy budget ammo anyway.
>>
>>33436322
So? There's nothing special about the .223 price. 5.56 is all that really matters when it comes to bulk deals
>>
>>33443209
I had the 5.56 in my cart and was about to slick then I looked at the reviews and all of them had three stars saying "its cheap, but I have had a few bad primers". Decided I go have dinner then maybe place my order. Came back and it was out of stock.

>democrats and GOPe are doing everything in their power to hinder our country's progress just to spite him.

McCain and Graham are outright hostile to him, while backstabbing kikes like Ryan are establishment cucks who are no better than your average democrat.
>>
>>33443224
20 cents shipped for brass 223 isn't special? Where else can I get that consistently? (No, not being an ass, really I want to know )

Lol

You don't. He's being a faggot. The best I've ever seen was reman for $0.29 and that was because it was free shipping for first time buyers.
>>
>>33443252
>draft dodger
His number was never called, you can't be a draft dodger if you were never drafted faggot.
>Call a fighter pilot POW that he's a loser and a pussy for getting captured
You mean the guy that was a chronically bad pilot that had multiple incidents, almost failed flight school, and was only there because daddy was an admiral? Nvm that he collaborated with the NVA while a POW.
>>
You are now aware this is how Federal dumps questionable batches. Notice the poor reviews as of late, primer issues, etc.

It's fine if you buy this ammo to plink, but don't hunt or trust your life with it.
>>
>>33443275
thanks for waiting till the end of the thread to tell everybody
>>
>>33443275
Well I wouldn't be firing ball ammo in my home anyways kek. I have a mag of VMAX for that.
>>
I wonder how long until Midway sends out the cancel emails and breaks our hearts
>>
>>33443292

its been brought up a few times in the previous threads.

It's 9am in Missouri right? I bet Larry is sitting down with corporate and figuring out how to do damage control.

I doubt any of us will. It's FMJ, I have PSPs HD, and I don't hunt with 5.56.

Sure, this order will put me at 5k for SHTF, but lets be honest, we'll never shoot it at anything but paper or steel. You and I are like the guys who spend thousands on a truck, "to go muddin'," but we never do.
>>
>>33443341

no but maybe hundreds

you seriously don't go mudding? my condolences farn

can somebody please start a fresh 'Waiting to be Dropped' thread?

No where to go mudding unfortunately.

Senpai if the fool who breaks into my house can survive 30 rounds of VMAX they earned it

I had a can added to my cart, and I was checking out. I saw the choice to round my order up to the nearest dollar to donate to the NRA. I thought for like 10 seconds and did it, then when I checked out it brought me back to the home page. Man, choosing to donate to the NRA made me lose out on the best ammo prices of my life...

the whole point of a emergency fund is for emergencies. $100 is a lot even in a $10k emergency fund if you need another $1500+ ontop of it for an emergency

also he stated he is a college student living paycheck to paycheck. lots of college students dont even have an emergency fund (personally mine is only 2k but beats most people i know with none)

onto motercycle in cash, motercycles are cheaper than cars more often than not and most people need transportation. saving and then using cash is cheaper because no interest on credit, if you have the time to save

It's this smug complacency that lost democrats the election. Will they blame Russia again when they hand the republicans a filibuster-proof supermajority?

Mine were shipped this morning. I ordered 1000.

Anons, I come from the future. Everyone but the greedy will have their orders honored. Praise /k/ek
