It was cheap. It was the first optic i ever tried on my AR. It was the first optic i ever bought. It was the first optic i've ever owned. Works fine for range plinking and helped learn a little bit about rifle scope basics.

Wingmasters for TS. Pre shit years

How trustable are PSA upper assemblies? Specifically their Freedom line? I've got one of their Premium uppers (the ones that have the FN barrels [apparently]) and it has been flawless for me so far. But I also spent the extra on a premium upper BECAUSE I wanted that quality/cost ratio for my first AR.

My friend is now building his very first AR, and he wants to have a free-float rail starting out, but all of the freefloat uppers on PSA are Freedom stuff. Would any of these still be good enough for a first AR as something to learn on, use, and be reliable and have some good quality to it? or should he be looking else where for a quality free float that won't break the bank?
