In Waka Flocka Flame's song - "Go Hard In Da Paint," he mentions on a number of occasions his gun, saying "front yard, broad day, with the SK." What gun is he talking about? The only gun I can think of is the SKS, but I can't imagine a hard-rolling, corner-bending gangster like Flame owning and using an SKS for drivebys. A quick google search yielded no consensus on the matter. Anyone here know what he might be talking about?
He might be talking about an SKS, but let's be practical here, a gangster needs something compact, easy to conceal, and easy to shoot with on the move, for example from a car. The SKS is not the ideal weapon for a gangster. Something like a MAC-10 or an Uzi, the quinticential gangster weapons of the modern age.
>The only gun I can think of is the SKS, but I can't imagine a hard-rolling, corner-bending gangster like Flame owning and using an SKS for drivebys.
you joking m8?
There's tons of gangbanger pictures of nigs holding crappy converted SKS's.
>Anyone here know what he might be talking about?
>Something like a MAC-10 or an Uzi, the quinticential gangster weapons of the modern age.
You need to watch less 80s movies and video clips m80
From what I know SKSs used to be fairly popular among West Coast criminals because of their low price and high availability, especially in states/regions where AKs were banned under assault rifle bans, but SKSs were not.
You guys give niggers too much credit.
I am on my porch in the middle of the day with my sks in plain view
>front yard broad day with the sk
He uses the sks for home\traphouse defence, not drive-bys. A pistol or compact automatic would be more suited for a drive-by.
Hes just trying to rhyme shit so thats why he mentions guns, even in abbreviated ghetto "slang" just to rhyme
It's not about credit, it's about market availability..
>Be in California
>Likely end up with California-legal gun
Fixed 10rd mag SKSs were (or perhaps still are) legal under the California assault weapon ban...
Also, you don't need to credit them with much knowledge for them to know 'SK' as an acronym, as it's the top entry at urbandictionairy..
>Easy to convert to fully automatic
I doubt that... Unless they mean their tendency to slamfire?
>"what on Earth..."
What's worse? The fact that he's not doing a parody, or the fact that for a couple years of pain, this guy is gonna have enough money to retire by the age of 22?
>except waka isnt from california you stupid faggot, he's from georgia ATL
Maybe he stole the line from cali rappers, or maybe he was too cheap for an AK in his day so he got an SKS instead..
>stop being a fucking nigger loving piece of shit, and stop talking about shit you don't know about.
Kek. You're the one that's apparantly so intimately familiar with this lad that you know where he's from m8, not me.. What do you think he means by 'SK'?
Rappers are notorious for rhyming about guns without being autistically knowledgeable about them. They just do it for street cred or to intimidate/impress normies who don't know any better, especially in metropolitan areas where gun culture isn't prevalent (NYC, for example). Oftentimes, they just parrot the slang that others are saying just because it sounds exotic or esoteric.
This phenomenon is so common that it's now become common to "expose" others who are guilty of faking their knowledge or experience with guns.
But SKSs are actually a thing in certain criminal circles...
>This phenomenon is so common that it's now become common to "expose" others who are guilty of faking their knowledge or experience with guns.
There's nothing wrong with strawmanning, as long as you're not actually serious about the argument.
>But SKSs are actually a thing in certain criminal circles...
Agreed, I wasn't saying they weren't, I was talking about rap in general.
This may be more of a street/battle rapper phenomenon, but watch from 16:50 for an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXOEzZvjUPU
>the rest of the battle is good too
>Or just rhymes with the previous verse.
>ITT: white people trying to fit in with niggers
At least some of the shit is true
Of topic blog post, but idgaf. I went to the indoor range the other day.
>be me waiting with buddy to get two lanes
>two black dudes in line in front of me getting the range rules from nice old lady because they are new
>they bring their new mossberg 930 in to shoot but also want to rent a gun
>talk to them about their 930, tell them it's a nice
>they ask to see the tacticool ak and talk about how cool it is
>politely suggest they should check out the OG milled under folder next to it
>they end up renting the one I suggest
>go in a range, got a lane next to theirs, moderately nervous they are going to ND through the lane divider
>hear them fussing about so I go over and ask if they need any help
>end up giving them newbie instructions on how to use their shotgun and the all they rented
>on the way out they say thanks and tell me "I'm a cool ass dude, dude" about 5 times
I know a lot of you guys hate black people, but honestly not all of them are that bad.
>you guys hate black people
I think it's the inner city mentality that people are fed up with. There's probably only a handful of people here who hate all blacks. But what do I know, we get a lot of /pol/ crossboarders.
They were trying to recruit you bro!
Also have an off topic story
>Have a coworker who is a younger black guy
>Travels over an hour to come work in a good area with actual jobs
>Puts on his inner city persona when around other black coworkers, but lets his guard down around me for some reason
>Talks about his ambitions, goals, and general feels
>Found out from another coworker that I was prior service and confides in me that he wants to join the military to get out of the hood
>He lights up, says he's a good swimmer and wants to join the Navy
>That's great, black anon, you should totally go for it
>Ask him if he's shot a gun before because he will definitely do that at basic training
>Says his sketchy neighborhood friend has shown him a pistol before, but never been shooting
>Talk with him about the 4 rules and he recites them back perfectly
>Next day do a show a tell with different rifle and pistol cartridges
>Teach him about the primer, bullet, casing, etc.
>Move on to show and tell with Glock 26
>Impeccable trigger discipline
>Dat muzzle awareness
>Huge smile when he slaps in the 33-rd magazine
>Have him field strip it a couple times and he enthusiastically rattles off names for all the parts as he's doing it
>Extend invitation for a range trip
>Can't stop talking about it while waiting for the weather to get better
Feels good to introduce people to the hobby the correct way and dispel any mystery about it.
"As Romans's body was evacuated, one of the other SWAT officers then spotted Mixon beside the bedroom door, equipped with the SKS rifle, and fired at him."
niggas be using sk's and shit nigga

All you dumb motherfuckers are so stupid. He is referring to an H&K P2000SK. Watch his videos and listen to his interviews you autistic virgin neckbeard faggots. Fucking hell.
I don't even know what you're trying to get at
the music video prominently shows LA as the town, and waka associating with the bloods there.
so go fuck yourself
SKSs are a popular hood rifle. Revolvers are big, the full range of 9mm handguns, shotguns and of course AKs.
The Uzies, MACs, sub machine guns or automatics are reserved for higher level drug dealers. The low level one's have common US civilian firearms.
if /k/ is going to like one rapper it might as well be waka
he also accidentally tried to bring his five seven through airport security once lol
Niggers are dumb. That's why they're niggers. If they weren't dumb, they'd be at work or school, contributing to the community.
Not singing songs about shooing people, pimping out their hos, selling drugs, and abandoning their families.
You dumb nigger.
