If the NFA didn't exist what would be the bestselling home defense firearm?
>>
>>28875465
VX-gas grenades and M240 Bravo's
>>
>>28875465
if people got past their illogical biases towards shotguns and handguns, SBR AR-15s and krinkovs would be best. also pistol caliber carbines
>>
A SBS or a Supressed SBR or PDW.
>>
>>28875481

>AR-15

yeah, no. Fuck you. AR fags are literally the worst.
>>
>>28875471
Personally I'd have a pillbox with M60s and Mk. 19s
>>
>>28875465
I feel like there would be a real SMG market.

A suppressed PDW would probably be the ideal home defense weapon.

I'd probably use a canned krink, or 11.5" AR15.

Claymores in the front yard.

A Maxim Gun sticking out of my living room window.

6000ft of Razor wire encompassing my property.

16 strategically placed anti-Tank mines

A M134 mounted out my bedroom window towards the street.

And an M4A1 in my bedroom, for home-defense.

Way to waste money pleb.

Ive fired an Uzi indoors before and it causes just as much EEEEEEEEEEEE as a Colt Commando or anything else.

Theres a certain threshold of noise ime where anything greater doesnt even matter because your already temporarily deaf.

Probably an 11 inch ar. I'd fuck with an mp5 all day regardless

I think SBR PCC would be pretty popular. Throw a can on it and you have the potential to not make everyone deaf.

LITERALY no better alternative

I would honestly want a full auto supressed SBR in .22lr with a 100rd magazine. I like ARs but there would be so many other options that would be better in .22lr. maybe an intertech tech22.
>>
I'd have a suppressed krink

Learn to read the op dumbfuck it literally says in the first line if the NFA didn't exist
>>
>>28876090

If the NFA didnt exist that would be called a submachine gun
>>
>>28875552

Case in point
>>
>>28875465
>SMGs
>12.5" barrel shotguns of both stocked and pg variety

I'd have a 3+1 Super Shorty with a wood "tommy gun" foregrip and a youth walnut stock or a suppressed Micro Uzi, one in each night stand so it would depend on what I could reach first.
>>
>>28875465
Depends on the home, the user, and the perceived threat.

Likely full auto SBRs or some kind of pistol caliber SMG. Perhaps without the NFA we'd have newer stuff to fool around with.

Boring but closer to reality.

Mah nigguh.
It did really bother me that the only SG team that had assault rifles and a support weapon were the ruskies.
>>
>>28878835
No they're not you fucking moron.
Minifuns are exempt without a motor (ie. Handcrank that bastard), but are classed as machine guns with a motor attached.
>>
>>28879322
Eh the SG teams were scouts not soldiers so a PDW seems perfect. An when SHTF they sent in marines with M4s

just about anyone can afford them. i have a pricey one myself, but i think the 'ar can do everything' fags are the fucking worst
>>
>>28875465
Sentry Guns, for when the niggers/beaners come at night, they mostly come at night.....Mostly.
>>
>>28875465
I imagine $200 shotguns would still be the best selling home defense firearms.
>>
Best selling? I'd expect something very cheep and full auto. What exactly would be hard to say, but i'd say cheep open bolt blowback smgs would be everywhere.
>>
>>28879368
M80, I am a scout.
No way in hell anyone who's not mounted would be using anything less than a carbine.
PDW make sense in protective roles, where you're escorting a VIP without trying to seem imposing, but given that SG1 made primary first contact and dealt with the most hostile situations, you'd want them to be well kitted out.
I did like the episode with the drones and missiles fired through the wormhole, that was neat and a realistic way FS could be provided.
>>
>>28875552
If you weren't Autistic you would've read he wrote SBR AR-15s.

Personally I agree with the AAC Honey Badger in glorious 300 blk out.
>>
Suppressed sub-guns for HD. Super short, super quiet

>>
>>28875465
>If the NFA didn't exist what would be the bestselling home defense firearm?
Probably a modified tandem magazine 'sbr' ar10 chambered in 10mm

>modified tandem magazine
Same concept as a tandem mag, except 2 separate magazines.

But if you would do the above to an ar, it would prolly just be smarter to go with an RDB or MDR because muh bullpup.
Sparing all of the issues of wanting to be able to hear again and safety of others, probably a m60 type backpack and a belt fed port firing weapon.
>>
>>28880029
That was going to be my answer.
Without the NFA, 5.7mm johnson would probably have taken off because of that, and we would essentially have the p90 40 years early.

Easy, a mg42 hanging for the ceiling on a track that goes throughout my house. A mile long belt is hidden behind drywall that I redo every time I reload. The belt goes into the ceiling and feeds into the mg. also pedals are at the bottom of the armature so I can slowly bike my way through the house not making a sound.
