170 sans plates, set of plates is like 220 or so? That's if customs doest nigger me. You can get fully plated korunds for 200-250 as well. I've had no luck finding 6b43s.

that looks really bad on functionality, i've tried putting my molle gear on the back it's a real pain in the ass to reach like that rear pack would never be used unless you take the thing off, and that med bag he'd have to pull the entire rig to the side to reach into it and probably not see what he's doing while his hand is in there
just get some sort of molle rig if you actually want to carry stuff and use it

It is quite beautiful and I'm kinda saddened that the Russkies didn't have a new generation of Smersh rigs for their new gear. The LBVs are way too much like the US Army's own except in Russian camo pattern. I've been looking for ways to emulate a Smersh but acceptable for use with US Army equipment and needs.

I have a Smerch not a Smersh but it's pretty much the same. I give it a 9/10 total.
pros
>good weight distribution
>belt is thick with a good buckle
>the H harness connects to the butt pack and the magazine pouches not the belt so you don't get shit flopping everywhere like the Alice system
>fits 2 ak mags per pouch or 2 ar mags. I don't have any 308 mags to test but the utility pouch that come with it fit 2 AICS 300win mags perfectly or 2 20rnd 5.56 mags
>stretchy part of mag pouches holds pop flares well and double stack handgun mags

cons
>it's not a plate carrier so you need separate lbe for the plates
>quality of the stitching seems okay but not as good as eagle industries.

The scar mag is standard 20rd battle riafu mag.
It requited a bit of dexterity to get out which in a high stress situation wouldn't be ideal, but you can always stuff a cleaning kit and rags at the bottom of the pouch or mag assist to solve that problem.

They make pkm, rpk, ak, svd, built rigs you should be able to fit what ever you need.
Also i think the 3bars gorka looks better than the 4 bars myself.

I was contemplating it and would have went that route if I hadn't already ordered the 6b45. I will start on a defender vest as soon as this setup is done probably. I can source defender plates and kevlar easily

I have a smersh. Location of buttpack and mag pouches is adjustable.

U wont be able to reach for an iwb holster with one on. Otherthan that, its good. Can fit 3 ak74 or akm mags in each pouch, but a bit tight. Can probably fit similar size mags no prob.

There are many but few available. The MSA KFS is favored by GIGN, ulbrichts are favored by Germans, but you can't get either cheaply. You can get a ZSH1-2M for 300-400, an lshz2dt for about 215 and a maska for 250.
