As an American currently stationed in england, it is weird, the LEO don't even carry handguns unless they are a part of an anti terror unit. They carry batons, pepper spray, and a taser. There is a shitload of CCTV cameras everywhere and guns are pretty much abhored by most the locals I talk too. Its like they removed firearms and just put a load of cameras to watch everything you do.
