EDIT - nah, it's way too late to submit form 20 now. You gotta do that shit at least 3 weeks in advance.

If you want on the mailing list email me, I'll try to send out the mass email this weekend.
Instead of complaining about how I'll never make it to one of these things, who here lives in the Deep South and wants to organize a /k/ meetup? I'm from Mississippi myself. Always thought we should establish a gulf coast chapter of nuggetfest. We of all people love shooting guns in the woods the most.
Thats the biggest downside to living in a less populous area.
You could always try and make the drive. Even meetup with /k/omandos along the way to caravan with in case assistance is required.
I have driven a POS for years and years and while I hate relying on it, it has really never screwed me over even when driving 11 hours.
I have a cousin in Martinsburg WV. She said they have 40+ inches on the ground now, not counting drifts. 1 foot shouldn't be that bad on the road, just enough to make it interesting.
Maybe we can build a snowman army to detonate with tannerite like Creep said.
York City Plowing a shit
PennDOT a shit
So where am I supposed to leave a car for thee or four days and not have it stolen/broken into? I know it's up to me to make that decision, but making the long haul across several states in my dead grandmother's oldsmobile sounds like one pain-in-the-ass set back after another. Shooting guns with strangers, as cool as it seems, is not worth the trouble when shooting has fallen back as one of my favorite hobbies. I have dnd games to plan and run so shooting will fall by the wayside for the time being.
Its pretty easy,
in snow/ ice driving large vehicle becomes more like driving a boat, all control input just gets a bit more delayed. Small cars are a bit easier as long as your tires are not bald.
What time on Friday is everyone getting there?
due to some delays earlier in the day, my group will be showing up around 7pm or so.
How easy is it to find our way to the camp from the 4WD parking area?
I will be showing up Friday afternoon as well, although I will probably be there before 7pm. camp should be pretty easy to find from 4wd parking. head down the other trail out of the parking area (not the one you entered on)
Fires and noise should help you to home in as well.
I'll try to have a look this weekend. I do not currently have my truck though, so maybe if I feel like hiking in from the mine.
I expect a lot of it to melt off by next weekend anyway.
A couple pieces from this.
I'm bringing my milsurp store along.
What are Penn laws about private transfers? I know that pistols need to go through an FFL but what's the process for long guns?
Also know that there are no transactions allowed on property, I'm not going to fight creep on that.
To do so in a "professional" manner, can just write up a bill of sale, with some basic contact info of the person you're selling to, serial number of gun, and keep that in your records. In reality, hand cash, pass gun, part ways. Take your pick.
Some molle mag pouches, pistol and rifle? Subgun if those even exist?
An FLC that's green or multicam or something? Do you want to trade one for my sand colored one if I put some dollar bills in the webbing?
your stuck with an ffl if its not pa bro to pa bro
>what's the process for long guns?
If it's legal in their state, you can sell it to them. Just assume anyone trying to buy from you from NY or NJ is ATF.
I had one dude from NJ tell me he totally bring his own, non-folding stock for a VEPR I was selling. Fuck that.
Technically in PA you don't have to show id for private rifle transactions. So couldnt a NY/NJ anon say they are from PA and a unsuspecting resident sell?
Seems to me if the ny/njfag gets caught it will be all on them
Hello all. Just a quick reminder that I will be helping out Creep by running the range. I am a lax range officer, but that is not to say I am not without rules. Attached are the new and updated range rules for this event. Please be sure to read them carefully, as some of these are proprietary to the Penfield site.
As a reminder, I am bringing steel targets and hangers for the pistol range. Please bring along a spare can of light-colored spraypaint to keep[ them visible.
- 20x102mm cannon "destructive device"
- Barrett M107A1 with Barrett QDL suppressor (ammo is $5ea, or $45 for a full mag. This has to be my ammo from my possession)
- Cobray M11/9 machinegun (bring 9mm ball, and don't break it this time)
- S&W M&P22c with Freedom Armory Machine Works Minuteman Ti suppressor
- 5.7x28mm pen gun AOW
I'm not a robot
Finally had a chance to review the gear list, only thing i feel worth mentioning is a folding tree saw will be much more useful than a hatchet for wood processing. Less work for the same effect, and given the temps you glorious bastards will be dealing with, less work = less sweat = less death. And remember, let the saw do the work.
Be safe, have fun, and don't do anything i wouldn't do!
If you need any assistance or additional RO's I volunteer, shoot me an email.
I'll be there later on Thursday
Sig MK 25
AR or AK, not decided yet
Nugget (goes without saying)
I was formerly a robot until circuit reassignment surgery.
Creep, any thoughts on where I can park my rig? Should I just contact you for pickup once I'm in the area? Thanks. Ill be less jovial this time, but Ill probably still buy you some knives.
90% of the pictures are ones that I took. That camera is now dead though. She was amazing. I have another with auto focus only so I dont know the quality it'll be but dont worry. I'll take twice the number of pictures.
This >>28686409 is probably the best idea. Walmart is about 45mins away from the campsite but it's the best place to park a semi where we don't have to worry about it getting broken into or stuck in the ice/snow.
if they are the one directly being photographed or face shown otherwise photorape that milsurped silhouette
I won't make it to this one, but hopefully the one in July or September will be viable for me.
And don't go making it in August cause I'm already booked off there and I get jew'd to no end when it comes to time off.
I'll be there in spirit with targets sent to Creep. ;_;7
Down to a certain point though, nobody even used a hatchet that I noticed. So a saw would see just as little if any use. Whatever was cut with a chainsaw was split with a wedge ax, and that was about it.
We'll see you down the road man, thanks again for the targets.
"An unlicensed person who is not prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms may purchase a firearm from an out–of–State source, provided the transfer takes place through a Federal firearms licensee in his or her State of residence." -ATF
From that wording it seems that all out of state firearm transfers need to be performed at and with accordance to an FFL. While my wording and interpretation of the law may not be correct in this situation I don't consider it worth the risk and ask that anyone watching to purchase a firearm face to face, do so offsite at an FFL.
Since you're two possible outcomes are:
>A Everything goes fine and you purchase a new firearm
>B You just committed a crime under the eyes of the law and may lose your 2nd amendment rights over a $200-300 gun
So again, I'll put it out there, no firearm transfers at NuggetFest for the welfare of everyone.
PA has no laws regarding the transfer of long guns or shotguns. The only time it is illegal to sell a person a long arms is if you knowingly sell to them knowing they are not supposed to own a firearm (like if they are a felon). Unlicensed person only need to go through an FFL if they are transferring a handgun, SBR, or SBS. And even then they can bypass that if they are transferring to a family member.
FYI - FFLs actually are not involved in the transfer of title II guns (like SBRs, SBSs, machineguns, suppressors, AOWs, DDs), unless they are coming from out of state. Everything else you said is true and correct though.
The more you know.
From my understandings of the GCA it says pretty much what >>28690033 says. Either it is okay but gray or outright illegal. Either way we're all grown ups, do firearms dealings well away from the property and use your head.
You are the robot who is assumed to have better knowledge than most, I am in no way asking this as legal counsel but would you say, as far as you know, private trade of long guns and shotguns with out of state residents are legal without an FFL intermediary?
Yes, private sale of long guns to out-of-state people is legal in PA. Of course, this comes with the prerequisite that the transferee is someone that you have no reason to suspect would be unable to posses a firearm anyways (ex: a felon).. This is also with the understanding the the firearm being transferred is not one that is unlawful to own in the tranferee's home state (ex: you can't sell a SpringField M1A to a Maryland resident who is in PA visiting, since the M1A is explicitly banned in their home state).
Of course, let me further urge everyone to heed to Creep's rule of no transfers done on the property. He's a great guy, and his rules deserve to be respected.
Correction - I'm not a robot
Correct, though it should be common sense for both parties involved. As much as I find the guns bans of my close neighboring state of MD to be bullshit, they must be adhered to... Remember, some states ban guns explicitly by name (and clones therefore of), and others by features. If you plan to sell a firearm to a resident of MD, NJ, or NY at this event (offsite of course), please exercise caution, and do your research.
For MD residents however, it is not unlawful to possess high-capacity magazines, but only to "receive" them in your state. If you want to load your MD brothers up with 30-drum-clips, I gladly condone this practice.
Thanks for the input Josh.
If the law permits it and you're not doing it on the property it's beyond my scope of legality/responsibility and not really any of my business or concern at that point.
As long as everyone is safe and has fun at NuggetFest I'm happy.
Now why would a person be in possession of a gun that is illegal in thier home state?
Most of you guys are hitting me up at a bad time for modern stuff. I had a good sale after Christmas to prepare for my move to a new location. The new place will be open this week and I doubt I'll get anything new in before the fest.
No multicam pistol mag pouches.
Shit pile of it.
Unfortunately I'm sold out of FLC's right now. I have MOLLE pouches but most are DCU.
Not going to make Oaks. Way to busy with Nuggetfest, reopening the store and then SOS the week after.
Troll/10. Yup that one photo is every firearm I own alright(Sarcasm implied). Since when was a Berdanka a dime a dozen?
I'm a tranny, will I get endless shit for going to this or should I just stay home
Why would somebody shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane?
As long as you are not an ass hole you are welcome to come. If anyone is mean to you for being a tranny the white knights will fend them off and all will be well. I assume your trolling though. There's no way k has this many trannys
My contribution when the weather is shit and the trail seems impassable. Just like last winter fest when I pulled lots of people out with it...
I just stopped using my trip when posts are just whatever mode. It goes on when I accidentally refresh the page or something. I'll bring and share whatever ya got. I also plan on leaving from NY so just email me I guess. Cut my trip to 2 4 hour segments instead of one long 8 hour hell.
Man my freezer is full of left over stuff i make then put in there and forget about entirely.
Would anybody be interested in like... frozen for a month home made ramen and stuff? All you have to do is defrost it and pray you don't overcook the noodles but it tastes pretty good..... I just make too much for myself and then forget about it.
Hopefully we'll have less people getting stuck this time around, or ideally none. Though I may require your services again man lol. Also, nice new nickname on here.
I'll see what I can do this summer.
I have an FFL03, and I'm pretty sure MDpoorfag has one too.
Believe me, I was the most surprised when over 80 people showed up lol. Should be about half as many since it's February this time and a lot of the college bros can't make it, unfortunately for them. Though it's probably for the best. I'm trying to spread out the NuggetFests for smaller groups and corral everyone to Nevada for the big shindigs.
im gonna have to buy a cheap cruiser for that i dont think i want to do two oil changes and a new set of tires on a dual sport for one trip
probably just carpool i love driving long distance so that will probably work out for any fellow pa bros who want to carpool
in about a year or so I should be in the market for a newer (2012) big truck. I might try to make the drive out there sometime after I buy that.
mabye carpool with some PA bros when that happens.
>How do I get a ride up from there?
Talk to someone about having a contact for a ride up.
>How many dicks will I need to suck afterward?
That is to be discussed between you and your ride.
i was talking aboot nevada but im going solo up to winterfest unless anyone wants to leave thursday and come back sunday and is located around westmoreland county SWPA
holy fucking shit thats far i'd be better off just driving to pennfield lol.
From what I saw, there's just casual groups of people floating around. Talking about anything and everything. Shooting, drinking, general bullshitting for fun. It's honestly one of the most laid back setting you can find with a bunch of heavily armed strangers I've found.
Everyone is really cool, we shoot shit, then shoot some more shit, also there is shooting of shit.
Then we eat like when ever we want, go shoot some more, talk in memes. There is then the ritual shooting of shit. Eat again, it gets dark and the drinking and speaking in meme comes again.
Rinse repeat and enjoy.
I mean, their cool I guess if you like looking like a massive faggot
I'm actually working on the business plan for NV at the moment. The plan is to build a full scale range and campsite. But that's not all, there's enough room on the property and the surrounding BLM land for horse back riding, dirt biking and hiking. With the cost of lumber, cement, hardware, tools, generator/post hole digger rental etc the cost is setting at about $5000. Hopefully the kickstarter/indigogo I throw up next month works out.
The excite is real.
Whats nice is NV is known for gun tourism too. I hope y'all hook up with some FFL07s or FFL10s to shoot the really fun stuff inna future.
Because it's really hard to find 80 acres in PA for the same price as 80acres in NV. I still plan on doing PA NuggetFests though.
I saw those jokes coming.
>I hope y'all hook up with some FFL07s or FFL10s to shoot the really fun stuff inna future
That's the plan.
Nope, still in MI, though I plan on moving out there this fall.
Commiefornian newguns here.
Pls let me live out muh innadesert fantasies.
Would pitch money for clubhouse.
Actually where's the nearest motel if we're pussies who can only make a day and don't have a bunch of camping stuff.
>We have the occasional 1000% autist who shows up
I'm looking real hard at the new Africa Twin... like what I hear so far.
Hopefully for next nuggetfest I'll be able ride out. Anybody know if Uralbro is coming to this one?
better get real tires if you want to make it through the mud doe senpai
no idea im bailing on this one for the bike aspect i rode to work enough in the snow this year and i want to bring more than two long rifles
There was a trap and a cross dresser at the last NF. Nobody gave them a hard time as far as I could tell. Just don't have a stick up your ass and I'm sure you'll fit right in with all the other degenerates.
I can assure you the captain doesn't live in Lancaster
>yfw the two of us snagged the last order at Rob's before the closed early on Friday for the snowpocalypse
How much gay homo sex is gonna happen innawoods at nuggetfest?
I'm going to try.
I'm also expecting to watch my bike sink in the muddy snow like that horse in the Neverending Story.
No worries. Strict policy says if people act a shit, they get kicked. But, if you are a shit, you're kicked, so don't be a shit.
Big words, from someone who's likely never gone.
Should I get the M35a2 Deuce running and drive it to the NE Nuggetfest gatherings? ..
Fill it with /k/omandos and pull up to the local Walmart and/or liquor store and have everyone pile out of the back in milsurp and purchase all the local alcohol?
A bus is easier to turn into an RV. Diesel pushers are worth the most.
M35 Radio trucks are the easiest to convert into an RV as the box is already constructed on the back, They are not as common though.
sucks I don't have enough time to beat it into shape for this nuggetfest. I will work on making it possibly happen for the future. 6x6 should make it to 4wd parking :P
are there any other trails on the property to drive on?
My lifted suburban can pull it out, pic related.
you think it would move ~12,000lbs ?
I don't even know if I have tow straps that would shockload high enough to move it.
Would have to use multiple long as hell straps doubled up.
Confirmed under 18 noguns.
Please Read Forum rules and Remove yourself memeposter.
50 Gallon fuel tank. 6-13mpg most likely Can burn about 10 Gallons of Used motor oil I have. Getting it running right and ready for a trip is the only issue.
I want to make dreams come true but it might have to wait until next year.
> Driving down the road with truck full of /k/omanndos
> have engine trouble and pull over to shoulder
> Some passing motorist calls the Police because 20 autists dressed in milsurp carrying slavshit are standing on the side of the road
> state Highway patrol shows up with multiple units to address group of idiots standing around a roaring bonfire while getting drunk on the side of the road.
>Burning Used Motor Oil
I'm shifting between liking you and hating you very quickly, if you are pretty sure that it's going to be cool then go for it. Where are you coming from?
you are actually supposed to add at least min 1 quart of clean(or filtered used) motor oil per 15 or so gallons of Diesel you put in.
Modern #2 (ULSD) Diesel does not have enough lubrication for the High pressure fuel pump and without the fuel lubricating it could potentially be damaged running straight modern diesel.
Yep. Welcome to life.
Who else is bringing theirs?
It needs an oil change (5 or 6 gallons of oil) 2 oil filters, New fuel filters (2x) and has 1 brake that has an intermittent issue with dragging.
It has had the brake dragging issue forever, might and or probably has to due with moisture contamination in the brake system.
The air tanks take forever to pump up as well but are fine once you get them pressurized.
Wondering if I can ship the tent, tables and range flags to you since no one is responding to my requests for help getting those to NuggetFest. If I ship tomorrow or Friday you would have them early next week.
Morning bump! Bring an extra box of 9mm to piss through this. I would prefer it to be brass-cased.
The machinepistol is much less finicky than the machinegun with the Lage Max-11 upper. It will cycle anything that is not hollowpoint, or does not have a truncated tip.
like 5 hours a day
thats why i said when you put your tent down dont put it near the fire unless you like being up till 4am and waking up at 7am if you are a light sleeper
i originally was going to go through hinderland but then i called my ffl and asked how much he could get it for and i got it for 2765 OTD which was 70 bux cheaper than anyone else online
you can sleep in the corner next to the raifus in my tent
no i just put my body into a coma state of shitposting like 5 hours a day as well so that is my main rest period
>York is a short bus ride away from Baltimore.
Not understanding why someone wouldn't take a bus to a meet. Since you have to be 18 to post here and attend the fest you should be doing something else kiddo.
So is there a place to set our rifles/gear down or should I plan on just carrying it for the day? I dont mind laying my stuff on the ground but dont want everyone stepping on my shit, a1 handguard break pretty easy
There should be several rifle racks on the range. I built them for the summer fest and they should still be there. My shitters walls may or may not be there, the seats though will be.
