I need a rail yo for that sick laser/light/vfg action. Nightsights, is it accurate, reliable, comfortable? Does it weigh 40 fucktons, is it delicate? Can I buy the pistol sans suppressor, in case my frame/whatever breaks?

Have they even dropped a price yet? I mean if this is a 4k special snowflake, yeah naw.

I think they'd have done themselves a service building something more Steyr TMP sized with a fixed rail ontop and below. This is already a special use gun.

That firearm does not require a stamp since it does not have any device attached to it that reduces, muffles, or deminishes its report.

regardless the point of the post is still valid, who gives a shit about a couple hundred bucks.

I mean if thats too expensive for you its not like youre going to be able to afford an integrally suppressed weapon anyways.

I would oper8 innabox, I would oper8 withafox, I would oper8 anywhere, I would oper8 with that gun there!
>>
>>28664375
Are you retarded? Of course it's NFA, by that logic integrally suppressed rifles aren't and they obviously fucking are.
>>
>>28664375
the firearm is the frame. if the barrel is removable in any way, as most are, especially in autos, i'm sure it will still count as an "attached device" or whatever language they want to apply to it
>>
>>28660840
...I would.
>>
>>28664745
which can be contested in court, but no one has

>>28664760
wrong.
In that factory configuration, that firearm has nothing attached to it that makes it quieter than it once was. It has allways produced Xdecibles of noise, and that has not been reduced, muffled, or deminished in any way since its manufacture.
>>
>>28660840
Sure, if it was a Walther PPQ.
Then I could remove refugee silently.
>>
>>28660840
if suppressors were not strictly regulated then i believe every handgun would most likely be integrally suppressed.

in other words what im saying is yes, i would an integrally suppressed pistol as there is no real reason not to.
>>
>>28666286

I like the way you think, but good luck when the ATF calvinballs the regulation, rewrites the definition of "attached," and shoots your dog.
>>
>>28666350
If they want to rewrite the definition fine, but as it stands, it is not an NFA item

it offers nothing that a regular suppressor doesn't and its a lot bulkier
but you'll buy them up anyway like the mall ninja you are
>>
>>28679246
No, the ATF declared it a "suppressor part," thus falling under the NFA. Nice to see Sig trying all of this cheeky shit though, its really showing how arbitrary the NFA is.

>>28680604
Its easier to holster. I can see myself carrying the Maxim.
>>
>>28682019
its also a giant block on the end of your gun, adding a few inches to it. Its a fucking stupid useless gimmick that youre going to buy because youre a dumbass
>>
>>28682019
This. Depending how how well it shoots, I could definitely see a Maxim as part of my EDC. Probably have to ride a shoulder rig, though, it's not going inside the waistband.
>>
>>28680604
It's actually much quieter In a much more compact package.

I know you have gotten to play with the gun, and are simply going off what you've seen online, but some of us have.

>>
>>28684465
I didn't get to shoot it, but after handling one I was impressed with how lightweight it is. With the different baffle design they have, one thought is to allow you to customize the length depending on what kind of ammo you'd like to run, or how quiet you want it.

Extremely nice setup, and I'm definitely interested to see where the design goes before production.

>>
>>28679246
So, you literally don't pay attention to firearm news at all, do you?

That pic related is a classic example of the ATF pulling a calvinball and threatening to shoot m and best friend. SIG made a muzzlebrake which actually INCREASED the db level of the gun's report, and the ATF decided that it was in fact a suppressor.

Yes, SIG was trolling on the ATF. Yes, if you threaded a piece of pipe on the gun, you would have a suppressor. But if the rule of law was still a thing in the U.S, that muzzlebrake would've never been a regulated item because it, by itself, objectively failed the test of what is a suppressor.
>>
>>28666350
>calvinballs
I haven't seen this used as a verb before, but it's perfect.
>>
>>28687932
Seen it a few times recently, i can't help but smile when i do.
>>
>>28687947
Added bonus, it really is the perfect verb to describe what ATF is doing. The regulatory state in this country is really out of control.
>>
>>28688066
To be completely fair, this is par for the course by now when it comes to the ATF, they've been pulling this shit for a long time now. Thankfully, it seems like there are quite a few lawyers starting to throw their bullshit at the courts.
>>
>>28664760
>>28666286
>>28666286
Permanently affixing a De Lisle's suppressed barrel to the receiver won't make it any less a "silencer" according to the law, even if it left the factory that way. Otherwise any .22lr pistol manufacturer with a suitable design (fixed barrel handguns like the Mosquito come to mind as being suitable with little redesign) would have been shipping integrally suppressed non-silenced pistols stamp free for the past 80 years.
Don't be silly.
>>
>>28666331
Supressors aren't restricted for militaries or in many countries outside of the U.S., yet they are not used except for when they are needed.

Surpressors, even when integrated, add weight, bulk, and unwieldiness to a weapon with the primary purpose of being light, small, and handy with very little benefit for the majority of scenarios they are employed in.
>>
>>28688217
Meant to say this post was specifically referring to handguns, in case it wasn't obvious.

>>28672723
What everyone else said; it's holsterable af. All the reports I've seen of it say that it's surprisingly balanced. Silencerco is also thinking about making it modular like their more popular suppressors so you can change the length and weight of gun to suit your needs vs attaching one of those "all purpose" cans you see people getting.
>>
>>28664331
*$200
Also the cheapest suppressors you'll find are still like $600 or whatever. Imagine buying an optic that you can only use on one rifle.
>>
>>28664760
Pretty sure removing the barrel doesn't make the gun louder.
