Hot damn, I got this rifle today and can already pop 2in groups at 25 yards.(Max distance at my range.)
>>28628406
Nice how much was it? How is the recoil with that stock?
>>28628406
sweeeeet, what is the gun?
also what is the gun sitting on top of? interesting scenery (treadplate wall, pleated surface table, etc)
>>28628406
You need to redpill everyone on it now.
Also more pictures please. I've seriously thought about getting my girlfriend one.

not op
it's a chiappa little badger
http://www.chiappafirearms.com/products/136
>>28628536
I've always wanted one in .17hmr.

like this?
Why bother with this?
> 2in @ 25yd is handgun tier
> Physically larger than any handgun
> Break action
It just seems like a curiosity firearm. The only reason why I'd get one is if it were exceedingly cheap, but it looks like they go for ~170, which doesn't really fit what it is.
Am I missing something?
>>28628626
>Am I missing something?
It's a prepper thing. The next best option if you can't get an M6 scout.
>>28628626
Well considering I've had the gun for 10 min at that point it ain't bad
>>28628415
Got mine for 150 plus tax, weighs fucking nothing, 2.2lbs, holds 12 on the stock. Honestly, it's a fun, cheap plinking/survival rifle.
>>28628415
The but pad plastic sits nice on the shoulder, and no recoil really, the damn trigger is very sensitive.
>>28628425
Chiappa little badger in 22lr, fantastic little gun with no weight. Small, compact, cheap to shoot, easy to sight in.
>>28628422
It's a grooved rubber mat at my range in Missouri, best range I've been to for the price. Call me a pussy but I'm not going to an outdoor range when it's 5degress outside if there's an indoor one the same distance.
>>28628545
>>28628406
Man, I bought one off Bud's 2 weeks ago and it finally shipped 2 days ago. As I type this it is 15 miles away in a UPS depot. Got it for $160. I'm glad I waited since I finger fucked one in my LGS and they wanted 250 dollars for one. Hopefully within 10 hours I should be firing it.
>>28628406
Holy fuck I picked up one of these at the ground today and can already pop 2 in groups at 25 yards.
>>28628406
Great, now you just need to wrap the stock with 50 feet of paracord and you are all set for SHTF
>>28628732
you know what, i don't even blame ya. that's cold as fuck. thanks for sharing man. i want one now
>>28628750
>>28628740
>>28628545
It's pretty aight.
>>28628873
lol, scope weighs 3 times gun. they look fun but what about a ruger charger?
>>28628884
That isn't really a fair comparison. They're completely different.
For what its worth, the Little Badger is easier to come up with a use aside from "range toy". I use mine for possums.
>>28628884
because ruger is fucking gay
>>28628891
they look like theyd be good for camping/backpacking. target practicing while you are in bumfuck nowhere. couple boxes of 22 wont weigh you down much
>>28628765
Like I didn't order the paracord yesterday, do you even prep bro?
>>28628919
Wouldn't a normal 10/22 takedown be just about the same size, but have the added bonus of a stock, making it infinitely more suited for target practice/small game?
>>28628406
>25 yards
nigger what I can't even tell if this is a bait thread.
i dont know, can someone who has one explain the POU? purpose of use
i get the cheap fun factor, just wondering what else you guys have in mind. like a leave in the car trunk at all times gun?
>>28628957
writing an acronym then writing out what it stands for afterwards doesn't make a lot of sense. especially when you get what it stands for wrong. fuck off, nutnfancy.
>>28628970
nutn would have actually refused to say what POU stands for and told you to watch his acronym explanation video.
>>28628936
does it look like there's no stock to you?
>>28629008
On the 22 Charger? Yes, there's no stock.
>>28629021
no one gives a fuck about ruger guns m8
ruger sucks dick
>>28629028
I feel I must have misinterpreted something said earlier.
The Little Badger is good. I like mine.
>>28628732
Where in Missouri?
>>28629003
>mfw there are actually 2 videos on all the acronyms he uses
I was about to give you shit on only managing 8MOA with it OP, but then I realized those irons must be absolute garbage.
>>28628406
Have one in 22mag can confirm is great
Well that's kinda crazy, I bought mine yesterday and was going to make a thread about it today. Cheers to you OP, love this little thing.
Only complaint? The sights sit so low and the wire stock sits high so I can barely get my eyeball low enough to even see through the peepsight, and I'm a small guy - didn't think I'd have this problem. Otherwise though? Dead accurate. Gonna grab a cheap scope for squirrel hunting. The little backpack is great for it, going to replace the velcro with maybe a magnet strip or make some kind of drop leg holster for this thing so I can store it while I keep my actual rifle in hand yet have this ready to go when the squirrels come out to play.
>>28629574
This is me, forgot my picture.
>>28629028
Larry vickers detected
>>28629028
>ruger sucks dick
if by "sucks dick" you mean sets the gold standard of semi auto 22 rifles and pistols then I guess so.
>>28628720
wow you never see those keltec carbines anymore. forgot all about them
>>28629574
Yeah same for the sights sitting low, and I'm a skeleton. Also not a fan of them being made of plastic.
I'd change the sights for something metal and a tad higher, bu not sure how I would go about that. That is, without spending as much as I paid for the rifle itself.
>>28628897
Watch your mouth bitch
>>28628415
>.22
>recoil
>>28628406
Any ND's on closing the action?
I read a few horror stories about that and decided it wasn't worth my money even for a tiny fun gun.
How is that stock attached to the main body? I'd only get one to make it into a stupid long barrel pistol.
>>28628415
>recoil
>on a .22
>>28630869
Thats only if you drop the hammer after opening it. When you open it, it goes half cocked by default.
>>28630885
Really deep in there with screws and the pressure of the body.
>>28629162
Near St. Louis, range in Arnold.
>>28628936
Mags can fail, weighs more, needs more maintainance. Don't get me wrong I love my 10/22 but both guns serve a different purpose.
>>28628406
Had one. It was a total pile of shit.
>everything is plastic
>trigger is spongey garbeg
>sights aren't even molded properly, rear aperture is shaped like a blob
>rear sight moves with the breeze or any slight shock
>that stupid fucking rail under the grip isn't even a standard rail that can be used for anything
That's what I get for buying a Chiappa
>>28631429
Oh, forgot to mention
>those clips that are supposed to hold cartridges
>everything goes flying off with the slightest bump
10/10 quality design here
>>28628406
It's like an oversized, exponentially less-useful SUB-2000.
>>28628406
You do realize that...
>rifle
>2in groups
>25 yards
...is nothing to be impressed by ever, and makes you sound like a serious idiot, right?
>>28631542
As an ex-Little Badger owner, I can tell you that 2" at 25 yards is quite a feat, especially with the dogshit-tier plastic sights.
>>28631559
I plan to put a cheapo red dot on there once I get the money.
>>28630869
>>28631327
They fixed the problem on the later models, the hammer is pushed to half cock when you close the action as well.
I think it has something to do with the tolerances ecause the mecanism in itself didn't change.
how does one actually hold those seems like an exposed railsections an uncomfortable grip
>>28631978
>how does one actually hold those
uncomfortably
>>28631978 a bit weird but works.
