First time shooting slugs at 25m. This is a 4 shot group, how does this compare to experienced shooters?
Post your groupings!!
100yrds prone, match ar15 with handloads
25meters 9mm 2handed
25meters 1handed 9mm
>This time with a Glock 17
~270 yards 20" AR-15 scoped. This was just with 55 grain wolf gold. I haven't bothered to get dies for .223 yet.
Not him but 20" is ballistic goodness. And wolf gold isn't bad ammo.
100% believeable IMO. Also 270 yards isn't that far for a rifle. He just knows what he's doing and probably didn't buy the cheapest crap he could get ahold of.
Believe what you want, I wish I had taken a photo through the range finder on that shot though. Past the two trees circled, there's some prairie land that was burned last summer, so that let me get out a bit further. usually, it's only about 150-170 yards.
True on that... I over spent on a barrel and couldn't afford to get a nice rail until later on, so if you notice in >>28488361, it's just a cheap plastic clam shell.
Feels a lot better now without the fat cheap plastic.
only used a bead sight for it too.
kinda bummed that the actual slug barrel is total shit and gets about 12moa on a good day
No, these targets have some slots to attach a new paper, the rifled slug got close and ripped it
>can shoot pretty well
>hit 3" group with one barrel
>other barrel on same gun shoots like shit
>i must suck
dudew is lying bro.
a 12 gauge has a bore diemter of 0.80 of a inch, a penny's diamter is 0.75 of a ich, those holes should be BIGGER then teh penny he is using for scale.
my guess is that the image is taken from a handgun at a much shorter distance.
Because vertical stringing like that indicates a shooter issue. Typically a vertical string indicates that you are taking your shots at different points in your breathing, while a horizontal string can be evidence of poor trigger control.
Match sights front & rear with Gehmann? iris iirc

heres a 4 shot group out of my '33 izhevsk, 100 yds with irons (the hole at the very bottom was to see point of impact). I was using handloads with .312 bullets loaded with one of those cheap lee loader kits. I'm pretty satisfied with the accuracy as the bore has some moderate pitting, and it's been counter-bored. plus I had a lot of trouble seeing the target with those irons
Not nearly as good as the other pistol shooter posting in this thread since I shoot 2 handed but here's one I shot with my .22lr High Standard Supermatic Citation (25m range).
25 meters with a baikal semi .22lr. Rotate head 90 degrees to the left because my fucking phone always posts sideways even if i turn the picture around
Wolf is a brand which uses ammo from multiple different manufacturers, low tier stuff is usually Russian or Ukrainian and higher tier stuff is from all over the world depending on caliber (Serbia, Germany, Taiwan etc).
oh i wasnt going for accuracy. Just fucking around a bit. Its my brothers gun and he never maintains it so it might wander around a bit. This was rushed though. I think i shot this group in 10 seconds. Mostly posted it for the k shape heh
