Great choice anon. That was going to be my choice until I found the Frontier Valley for $50 less while having more edge and options than LT's Patriot. The scalloped handles are nice though.

Before I buy a Benchmade Griptilian, which I'm about to, and have had my eyes on for a long time, anyone get any other recommendations? My old knife I'm replacing is a Sog Flash II, this thing is about the same dimensions, although obviously much higher quality

They are to me. Of course it doesn't cut better than a Mora but its edge lasts a lot longer and is hell of lot more better build quality. The sheath is great, too.

Just got a BK14 eskabar. Love it, it's the perfect little knife. Sharp as fuck too. However there is one thing that pisses me off about it:

After all that it's approaching $100 which is a lot for a small knife like that. I think it'll be worth it in the end tho

Is the Condor Crotalus a good blade?

For the price, yes. Most of Condor's stuff is pretty good.

I was considering a Crotalus when I was looking for a ~5" blade, but I ended up going with an Ontario TFI instead. The TGI is one of the few crowbar blades with a taper so I figured I'd check it out, it seems pretty nice so far but I haven't really gotten to use it.

You should also look at the Becker crewman and all of the mini Beckers, which I think are 14, 15, and 16.

What is the largest knife on the market? I'm an avid hiker/outdoors person, and I like to dress to match. I know they aren't practical, but they just look so fucking cool.

pic related is a "Catachan Fang" used by the Catachan Jungle Fighters in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe. Measuring some 20 inches of steel not including the handle.

I know this may seem silly, but I want one. Is there anywhere I can get a knife similar to this? Kinda the same shape too, so don't suggest a Kukri or Machete, they aren't a Catachan Fang.

Then pretty much anything will do. Look through the catalogs of Kabar, Ontario, CS, ESEE, and Condor and see if anything grabs your attention.

If you can't make up your mind and want to hold off on a major purchase then you could get something from Ontario's SP series to tide you over, or maybe a Condor bushlore or some such thing.

Fit and finish has been known to be poor on this particular knife. Still works though.

Ontario's falcon and RAT3 would probably work for you, but they're both about $65. If you need something smaller then there's the Folts minimalist stuff and the SPEW, both of which I think are by CRKT. Also, there are some fairly small Beckers, I think # 13-15 or so.

Blade shape and size in relationship to the handle, as well as the fake golden accents on the handle almost make me think it's a Buck Folder of some kind.
