IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING.
IZHMASH TO SELL AK RIFLES IN USA AGAIN (by selling company to some random businessman).
Cold war attitude of some republicans is to blame as well. Russia nowadays is some kind of corporatism, not communism, they're willing to trade for whatever (up to and including high quality pussy).
They should have gotten their EU and NATO invites after 1989, instead they are pushed farther away so they have to rely on weapons exports. Their factories are producing weapons for Durkas instead of toasters for America, and you know what they say about Maslow's hammer.
>not knowing Hillary is coming and the inevitable panic buy 2, electric boogaloo
Gun porn for relevance
>They should have gotten their EU and NATO invites after 1989
Why the fucking motherfuck would NATO invite the soviet goddamn union to join?
"Ban all weapons of AK-47!" Says Obrack Obomo. AK-47 change name to AK-12.
"Ban all weapons of automatic!" Says Bara Kombo. Weapons of automatic caliber glue selector switch to single round shot.
"AAAARGH! Ban all weapons from the Russias!" Says Barcock Obomb. Machine factory shifted to Belarus.
"Ban all weapons from Izhmash!" Says Barracko Bomo. Izhmash change name to Rostec.
"Ban all weapons from CEO in charge of Rostec!" Says Brock Brobombo. Rostec changes CEO.
>up to and including high quality pussy
Well we should try to help supply them with it. Let me tell you, if people don't have access to some quality pussy, we get some global instability. And then we have to send Marines after them.
this was after the fall of communism, instead of trading with them again, they shit all over Russia
(according to some analyst that was on NPR anyway) they could have decided to begin trading with the new non-commie Russia again, but instead decided to shit all over them economically even more
Gentlemen see this post >>23005613 for why the situation is fucked.
Would be nice, but the closet we have gotten recently is when bush was in office, but relations still went south by the end of his term.
The issue is you have two nations that have ego issues, and different agendas that can't be put aside for very long unless the leaders have some sort of respect for each other, and even then it's a crapshoot.
Radom is gone, you're thinking of Pioneer Arms which popped up with a machine shop in Radom, Poland allowing vendors in the U.S. to non-fraudulently claim their weapons were made in the "Radom plant in Poland."
The nearest throat is always your own.
Besides I think that shit harpy will be too busy feasting on the flesh of babies and selling the organs of the orphaned children of her victims to run a campaign....just like last time.
It should(please god please)
Not by light years bro.
Based Russia keeping our dreams of a civilian ak-12 alive
It's Russian conspiracy theory that the West actively tried to fuck them over after the USSR dissolved.
Advocating shock doctrine for the economy was bad advice but it was sincere. They really thought it was a good idea.
>They should have gotten their EU and NATO invites after 1989
You don't understand how the EU and NATO work. There are no "invites", they are not torrent sites. Countries have to apply for membership and then existing members decide whether or not those countries are let in. Many of those existing members being countries that Russia has occupied in its recent history, you can guess what the answer would be.
>they could have decided to begin trading with the new non-commie Russia again, but instead decided to shit all over them economically even more
Are you high on something? Russia is one of EU's biggest trading partners.
>A week ago Rostec presented a new development strategy, saying more than 4 billion rubles would be invested into one of its other companies, Kalashnikov Concern, which manufactures the AK-47 rifle and was banned from import by the U.S. Department of Treasury, to modernize production and equipment.
Yesss, Saiga MK-107 and 9mm carbine when?
Poland received shock therapy as well, but they got a SHITLOAD of western investment to compensate, whereas Russia got zero western investment. In fact they were pretty nonexistent in the business world since 1991 to 1999, when some oil companies thought why the fuck not and invested in Russia. To just generalize how insane this was: RED CHINA THAT EXECUTED CAPITALIST INFILTRATORS GOT MORE WESTERN INVESTMENT THAN NEWLY CAPITALIST RUSSIA. They got punished for turning capitalist.
And people wonder why modern Russia dislikes the west... too many people still alive remember the 90s.
They are import banned so the prices are ridiculously high, if izmash opened a plant in the US and produced them here the supply would increase and the price would come down. Fucking day/k/are.
>his views are seperate.
We'll. aside from his voting record and the fact his dad is fucking Ron Paul
I think the idea that rand is some sort of nwo shill is hilarious considering he learned from his dads 2012 campaign on what not to say to get blacklisted
Where in Texas? Now i want one even more.
Again you are implying the state department would stand for an enemy nation opening a weapons factory in America.
They would be hit by every regulation on or off the books, and if that wasn't enough new regulations would be invented to pressure them to leave.
No , the gun is far too long and terrorist looking for legitimate American people. I can hear this shit rolling off politicians lips already.
Also rangefinding fixed power scopes make sniping way to easy. Just like tracking point
Ron seemed honest and a true statesman.
Rand leaves me feeling like he's got a long term agenda. Getting there by hiding his true colors.
Now is he playing ball a little to get ahead so he can unleash a LIBERTYSTORM!!!!! On the nation, maybe. He could also be hoping the liberty types inflate his bubble till he reaches the point where no longer needs them, and goes gull mainstream.
Hey /pol/and, how goes that whole 'Space' thi- Oh, right, Silly Poland, you cannot into Space.
Seriously though, if you can get us a better and/or cheaper AK I'll convert to pierogi.
>poland makes aks
>its made out of plumbing pipes
Well, many of the tea party fucktards still point at communism to explain just about every social problem in the US so good luck with trading nicely.
The reality is that we are at war with Russia even though the cold war is over. What happens if NATO gets a hold of Eastern Ukraine? A missile defense shield that will inevitably move into the area will be able to hit Russian missiles inside of the Russian border (within limits). We are also systematically purging the Middle East of Russian influence, hence the Syrian involvement.
Face it, we are still at war with Russia...or at least your leaders are.
Not made in Izhmash, not meant for the civilians. A Tigr might be a thing though. I'd love an civilian version of the SVDS (shorter and thicker barrel mostly, the foldable stock can be later modified if that's an issue).
It was a Generation Kill reference
Cpl. Ray Person: Look at this shit, how come we can't ever invade a cool country, like chicks in bikinis, you know, how come counties like that don't ever need Marines, I'll tell you why, it's lack of pussy that fucks countries up, lack of pussy is the root fucking cause of all global instability, if more hajis were getting quality pussy, there'd be no reason for us to come over and fuck em up like this, cause a nutbusting haji, is a happy haji.
>implying they won't be priced at American labor standards...
Enjoy that 1k Saiga and 2k VEPR.....unless they receive subsidies in Russia to under cut the US market.......100 dollar AKs would be amazing...
and I was referring to marines being pussies. XD
>many of the tea party fucktards still point at communism to explain just about every social problem in the US
What does that have to do with Russia? They're arguably less socialist than America.
They don't want to sell Dragunovs to Americans.
Hell they might actually be planning to invade someday, and they know Americans with fucking Dragunovs could really fuck them up.
Or perhaps they fear America producing Dragunov copies for their military?
Whatever the reason, they don't want to sell Dragunovs to America.
Cool I guess, I hope Baraka lalalalaladala bomba doesn't get wind of this.
These guys are right, we should have been building economic relations with Russia to ward off Chinese economic dominance but instead we've kept these cold war dick measuring contests and now we have Russia trading with china extensively and not trading at all with us.
>abrams tanks with a bustle autoloader
>shooting milimeter accurate missiles to 10km
>stealth fighter jets that dont cost a bajillion trillion to make
The NDAA is passed every year, they could probably add a section giving America back to the British crown and it would still pass. NDAA 2012 didn't grant any powers they didn't already have, it just said that the government has those powers.
Some guy on /k/ lied to me a year or two ago when we had this thread.
Clinton is a massive piece of fucking shit, so that makes more sense anyway.
>Hilary is too similar to Obama and wants to bomb everyone, she's not winning shit.
Which is why she's been distancing herself for a while now. If Obama fucks up then they can say she's been disagreeing with him for years and will fix his mistakes, if Obama stays tepid and doesn't piss off their main voting blocs then they can market her as Obama II: Vagina Boogaloo and if Obama REALLY fucks up he'll be on the sacrificial altar and Hillary will be holding the knife. At any rate, their voting bloc is so massive (especially if they pass that legislation for illegal citizenship) that they won't need to do much to win.
Winter is coming.
I figured that was the case "off the books" but thought NDAA 2012 version was a first on the record of that situation
interesting I had no idea about AUMF
thanks for the heads up. I wish some more strict constitutionalists were running for national offices.
it seems like a lot of people dont even care about the constitution anymore
pic related but obviously it not just him its a lot of people even supreme court judges :/
anyone know of some constitutionalists that are running for senate? house? president? cabinet?
alan grayson is pretty legit http://youtu.be/9MbRrXkrYNs
>Obama II: Vagina Boogaloo
my sides, you right though whoever is the new talking head acts like the old one and them dont play for the same team
>(especially if they pass that legislation for illegal citizenship)
that to me, if passed, is just completely over the top unconstitutional I would imagine border states would just say fuck the grants and deport them anyway; at least I hope so
I remember when /k/ suggested this
Then came the
>you can't just change the street address and company title guys that doesn't work you're so dumb
And now the Russians did it. I wish we could pull up old threads just so we could dump #rekt all over them
>these two anons cannot into geopolitics
Russia will always be a threat so long as it is not broken up into a number of small states and/or subjugated by outsiders. Russia's geography ensures that it will always see aggression and territorial aggrandizement as their first and last line of defense.
I'm sure they aren't simply feeling legitimately threatened because absolute retards post opinions like
>Russia will always be a threat so long as it is not broken up into a number of small states and/or subjugated by outsiders.
I knew this shit was going to happen. It was only a matter of time before "Izhmash" became "HsamhzI, the friendly not-AK company" and starting selling to the US again. That's how sanctions work. GG Russia
>the leading defense analysts of the world are absolute retards
>but not you, you're smarter than them
>with your degree in mom's basement economics
>argument from authority
>doesnt address the real issue
Didn't we have a discussion on this right after about how they could change the name and sell the company to another guy?
and then they actually did it, top kek.
>Get new Saignot, stamped made in..
>Production of at 3 Notmash Dr. Notmash Plant, Certainlynomasheshere, Russia.
>Russian weapons imports are banned anyway
No, Russian weapons imports from Kalashnikov Concern and its subsidiaries are banned.
Since KC owns basically all the weapons plants in Russia, you're technically correct, but the law doesn't target Russian weapons as a whole.
I know that, but there was another one apparently
Could have been a proposed one, however
Also, doesn't it have wording that any attempt to circumvent it was also illegal?
As in doing exactly this was illegal?
>imblyign US laws apply to Russia, but you get my point
Any transaction where KC is directly involved is now illegal, simple as that. Any circumvention would have to not involve KC at all to be considered legal.
However, the EO identified KC by its company name and address, so all you'd need to do is sell through a different company at a different address and you'd be golden, since KC is not involved in the transaction.
>pistol caliber carbines are shit
But if KC owns stock in the company or if this guy buys parts from KC and then puts them together wouldn't that mean that he's still doing business with KC and that means no importation?
Parts directly from KC are also banned. I'm not sure if owning stock would still count as illegal. That's something you ask to someone who knows business law.
However, if you bought stuff from KC then resold it from your company, that would theoretically be fine, since KC has already made their money, and would not be a party to any future transactions between the reseller and the buyer.
>Americans with Dragunovs could really fuck them up
>fear America producing Dragunov copies for their military
What the fuck am I reading.
>This concerns me
More than having KC imports banned outright?
If it does work, we might be lucky to get a few more months of KC imports before choomer-in-chief uses his magic pen to ban Russian imports outright. Good thing is that could actually get a rise out of Congress.
It's reliable, cheap ammo with pretty damn good terminal effect, and it comes in neat tins with funny writing on them. What's not to love?
AK-74s were literally built around the 7n6 round. may as well feed it right
but as it stands we have a chance to get them rescinded after the Ukrainian bullshit goes away. Having them completely gone for only a few months imports is complete idiocy.
I hope it doesn't happen or that they move to Belarus, but I'm not confident enough to have that much hope.
Best hope it gets rescinded after the crisis blows over. Otherwise, well... how long has trade with Cuba been banned? 50 years?
We really need a pro-funs president who will dismantle all this gun control shit. Including attacking the FOPA.
>mfw I paid $499 for my VEPR in 2012
>mfw when people buy them at gunshows for $1400
