Q: Why do some buffs stack and not others?
A: Each buff and debuff in this game has a hidden type attached to them.

For simplicity sake, we will call each hidden type Type A/B/C/Stacking/Summon.
Type: A/B and Summon are very commonly used.
Type: C, namely Sol's and Zephyrus' attack debuff and Cthulu's def debuff.
Type: Stacking, currently only the R rarity KH Caspiel possess such type of debuff.
(Zephyrus, Cthulu and Caspiel are not available at launch.)

Simply put, Different type of buffs and debuffs WILL STACK while same type of buffs and debuffs WILL NOT STACK.

For more information about which type each buffs and debuffs belongs to, refer to the JP wiki and google translate the page. (Unless someone wants to help me with this due to skill names still being unknown in the EN version.)

Before you start, there isn't really a point to re-rolling in FKG because the content is so easy. A full squad of golds (easily achievable through events and just rolling whenever Nutaku does its guaranteed gold ticket gachas) should be able to easily handle every event. Rolling for a rainbow is a bit suicidal. I know. I made 162 accounts since beta launch until I got a rainbow. No simple way other than playing through that I know of if you still want to pursue rerolling.

Well, a lot of the animal-themed knights are name puns anyway: Kirinsou as you mentioned, Inutade and her dog, Foxface and her fox, Lamb's Ear and her sheep, Haretail Grass and rabbits, Liongoroshi and lions, Hoozuki and snakes in a roundabout way (apparently the plant has some snake-related names because the fruit looks like a snake's head), Kiwi and her kiwi...

Horsetail is the obvious choice for horses (but it's not an angiosperm or gymnosperm, so it's probably outside the bounds of FKG), and I'm sure there are a lot of horse puns available in Japanese plant names too. There's also Hippomane or manchineel, which is named after a plant that supposedly drove horses mad, but is more famous for its incredibly nasty poison that exists in all parts of the plant, transfers by contact, dissolves in water to blister your head if you stand under the tree in rain, and mixes into the air to damage your lungs and eyes if you burn the tree. A manchineel-based knight would be a fine addition to Mandragora's team, come to think about it.

Also, I think horses are already used in the setting for long-distance transport, since it's no longer safe to use bugs for that purpose.

Here's a quick summary:

SSR Amon - The backbone of any Dark team. Stun extender, 4.5-5x dmg Rage nuke + rage gauge reduction, and Type A def debuff(-25%). Her first skill can give you an extra few turns of stun, depending on the original stun damage cap, which lets you refresh CDs easier. The defense debuff is the highest available for Type A and has a high hit rate.

Susanoo - Best all-purpose Dark Attacker. Random 8-hit nuke that scales nicely with ability up buffs. Stacking attack buff with 100% uptime. Self sufficient, with a 2k heal+light resistance buff to self. Gets first Dark AW

Nephthys - Best Dark Attacker against Light enemies. 4-5x dmg nuke, buff that enables crits(1.5x dmg) against Light enemies, and stun punisher. She used to be able to crit against all elements but the devs don't like fun, so that got nerfed quickly.

Osiris - Dark's only Healer. Charm skill, highly accurate. Short CD 1100 Heal/+15 burst gauge. Good personal survivability with her 2T dodge skill. With Arthur, you can guarantee a Full Burst every 7 turns.

D. Amaterasu - Limited Dark Fujoshi. Brings Type B -20% atk/def debuff, like her original version and can increase the enemy burst gauge by a turn. Also has a Light resistance+regen skill. Lets you be more flexible with your EX skills.

Hades - Defensive KH. 2-2.5x AoE nuke + Blind, 3-3.5x nuke + type A -20% atk debuff and 1 turn debuff nullification + medium def buff to party. Good total nuke damage(5-6x) and greatly lowers incoming damage.

Satan - Niche, Tricky-type KH. Type A -15% def debuff(Doesn't stack with Amon's), multi-attack up/life drain, can remove a burst charge. Goes well with Mordred and Charm to keep bosses from burst attacking too often, which can give you time to get defensive CDs ready.

Special mention(SR):

Bastet - Cat girl nya. Has a single-target nuke + low chance Blind. Main features are her +15% Dark atk up to party(stacks with dragoons), Type A ability damage up to party, and Assist ability that increases the HP of all Dark kamihime in the party by 5%, which works even when she's in the sub party slot. Works best with Susanoo, for the ability damage up/8-hit nuke synergy.

+30% atk up/Flame Prison to self: 50% uptime, flame prison debuff(-5%hp/turn) enables her Assist ability, which increases her double/triple attack rate.
Increased burst gauge rate: Goes from 10 to 15 per hit.

Fills up burst gauge fast, so you can use her Burst attacks to help fill up gauges for your other characters.

Acala - Attacker specializing in Burst attacks and wrecking Rage bars, highest base attack(10k).
5.5x dmg rage nuke/+20% burst gauge: You can use it during normal state purely for the +20 burst gauge
Atk up/Def down(large) to self: 50% uptime
Increase your burst gauge over 2 turns/Lower enemy rage gauge: long CD(8T)

Similar to Ares, she can build burst fast, especially during enemy rage state, where her +continuous attack Assist activates. Takes a noticeable amount more dmg with her 2nd skill up though, so be careful with that.

Daji - Fluffy tail buffer
Continuous attack up/Life Drain to party: gain 200hp per hit
Wind resistance to party
Berserk to party(2T): Probably 2x dmg, at least?

Basically, the Fire version of Beelzbub, with a damage cut against wind. Synergizes well with Ares/Acala.

Long CDs on all of her skills(9T minumum) make her pretty much a one-and-done type character. You can make good use of her in raids, I guess.

Fire atk up to party/Healing cap up to self: Increases heal to 2k+

Her skillset is more offensive and isn't as good as regular Sol's, but she's currently Fire's only SSR healer. Nice burst healing with her 3rd skill.

Uriel - Burst-based attacker with a unique mechanic.
Charge up: A new buff/resource, stacks up to 5 times and used up on Burst for +30% dmg per charge. Also enables her Assist ability, +continous attack up per charge.
Cumulative Burst dmg up(once): +30% per stack, used up on Burst. Long CD(6T).
Increased burst gauge rate: Same as Ares', +5 per hit.

I like that the devs tried something new here, but she isn't very good. Without charge stacked up and the burst skills active, she does SR-levels of burst damage. Since she doesn't really do anything else well, she's pretty useless outside of maybe Accessory quests, where you have plenty of time to save up charge stacks for the boss. Raids(especially during BT), event bosses, etc. are over to quickly for her to do much.

Ya, you have to do a quest or raid inbetween to 'reset' the help request between people. I think it's the same reason why the raid list is sometimes just completely empty until you finish a quest to force a refresh.

I bypass that by having my alt in the same Union as me and just share to union when I want to host something for the other account. It doesn't seem to have that consecutive help request restriction.

It honestly wouldn't be a problem if Kamihime actually gave players various ways to earn AP potions so they don't have to spend money for AP refills. I think that's one thing GBF does so well compared to many other mobage. GBF throws so many pots at you in the long run that players can virtually play as long as they want on free potions. Players can earn medals in the casino to buy up to 5 50 AP potions a day up to a limit of 100 a month. There is also co-op mode where players can leech off of other hosts and don't need AP to play. 50/100 AP potions also drop pretty commonly in co-op, allowing people to farm for AP for no cost. GBF also implemented a "moon" system around a year ago where players can receive items from rolling dupe characters and they can trade Bronze and Silver moons (gained from R and SR characters) for 30 50 AP potions per 5 Bronze or 2 Silver moons.

Players can then use all of these accumulated AP potions to freely grind whatever event they want. It's not uncommon at all to see people grinding out all of the materials to exchange for all of the event shop's copies of a SSR weapon AND summon in just the first day of the event in GBF, whereas the average player will most likely only do an event in Kamihime on natural AP regen and not have enough materials to exchange for even a single max break limit weapon or eidolon.

I must sound like I am sucking GBF's cock so hard right now but I can't help compare it with the clone and wonder why the clone isn't 100% straight up copying so many things that made GBF successful.

Reading this I almost get the feeling that Satan, Acala and Ares are good, while they are clearly regarded as among some of the worst SSR himes out there.
I think that the real question >>16682715 wanted to ask was also about what makes something a good or bad SSR hime in general. In short, it's three things: great debuffs (-20%), short recast time coupled with high damage, and special stuff.
Ideally you'd want a party with both ATK and DEF -20% debuff in at least two variants (commonly A and B) so that they stack instead of overwriting and you can free up hero skill (i.e. you don't have to pick Gawain's or D'art's), plus possibly another 10% in a third category (C or D). Take Ligthning for example, the weakest element. Up until very recently they had NO -20% debuff (let alone multiple of them in different categories). That alone was enough to make them the weakest element. On the other end of the spectrum take a Water party, they have A B C debuff all at -20%. Which is also why they are the strongest element.
Short recast time on high damage speaks for itself, we should be looking at maximum 6 turns here. Shiva is an example of this.
Finally special stuff are uncommon abilities that are regularly either shit or broken because the DEVs can't control themselves. Shit stuff normally includes low success rate stuff, shit buffs (drain), shit debuffs (lone dots), low increase in burst gauge, etc. Good stuff is the opposite, plus healing. Amaterasu and Dark Amaterasu are example of good special stuff (high rate of success, incredibly good and varied effects). Bad examples include Odin and light Satan.
As Satan, Acala and Ares do not have any of these good qualities, they are generally regarded as bad SSR. That's not to say they're worst than SRs, but if you're saving crystals you might want to know whether the himes you can roll for are good or not, unless you're choosing entirely with your penis, which is fine.

By the way in case you don't know what the A B C stuff is, buffs and debuffs come in certain varieties. Same letters overwrite, so you want as many different ones as possible. For instance single debuffs are generally A (like Gawain's). Double debuffs are B (like D'art). And debuffs which come with other special stuff (like stacking) are generally C. Some Eidolon debuffs are D (Yatagarasu's). At the moment the max debuff you can get is -50% IIRC (so if you have a great A and great B you get -40% then you need a -10 C or D and you're set). However before the fix there was no cap and you could get some bosses to do 0 damage if you went all out. Not sure how it is on Nutaku.

Before the next advent event I find myself with more potions than I had before. Once they implement Ultimate (Garuda, so next event), raid/union bosses and you have enough power to grind them, you'll have no problems.

As for Satan, I already described her as niche and she's the last SSR on the list for a reason.
