When it comes to Comiket, do you guys give priority to 2hu music?
I just listen to all XFDs indiscriminately and pic based on what sounds promising, never really cared if it was Touhou, Original or Free! arranges.
Only 7/22 of the albums I've picked on C88 were Touhou-related.

I recommend installing jDownloader for managing all this bullcrap, Mega has been HELLA JEW lately with caps, resets, "you have to login" after downloading 90%, etc. It's way more stable with the manager, same goes to MediaFire. Would have quit on listening to Comiket shit if not for it.

If Touhou stuff than that's easy, most of that older comiket stuff has probably been collated into the Touhou Lossless Music Collection. It's the newer stuff that is a problem now but you can probably find most of it on Doujinstyle/Baidu and the chinese music wiki.

I see your points, that's true.
But there are many gems that don't necessarily involve Touhou.
To cite a few of my favorites, Momobako, t+pazolite, DDBY, kikuo, AcuticNotes, Kinema106, TigerLily, en;Dolphin, taste.

As for their scarcity, I get them all from the spreadsheets on new Comikets, so there's a good balance between 2hu and non-2hu stuff.

And there are lots of singles or OSTs from irrelevant games that may surprise you.

I guess that's where the listening-to-all-XFDs process works for me: you can filter both bad Touhou arrangers (or with seemingly little/no innovation) and bad/bland composers as well.

I know nothing about metal, but ended up downloading two albums in C87 that looked nice - IRON ATTACK's and 龍5150's.

This was in the second one, and I immediately recognized it as a ripoff from Emerald Sword:

So yeah, I'm sure they are very unoriginal and the rest is probably also "inspired" by other songs, but the music still sounds nice, so I tolerate it. After all, all this 2hu music made me receptive of arranges recycling the same themes over and over.

I would listen to denpa, chiptune and all those phone-leaking genres when going to university, I'm sure those old ladies sitting besides me were completely puzzled by the ungodly screeches.

I also accidentally got my colleague addicted to Night of Knights, we had to film a scene of him listening to music on a phone for a school project and I lent him mine. The song was playing and he went crazy over it, asked for the MP3, even downloaded Osu! afterwards just so he could play it (that's where I had got the song from, didn't even know what the doujin scene was back then).

Who are you guys even here?

I've been searching all day for a certain touhou song anons and I can't find it for the life of me.

I think it was a version of flowering nights, but I cant say for sure.
The youtube video used a picture of Sakuya. The picture was dark, like it belonged to pixiv fantasia, and Sakuya was to the left foreground with her knives out. The song had a heavy bass reminiscent of Alstroemeria records.

Does this ring any bells anons?

Well, as I said I'm pleb when it comes to metal. I've tried listening to Demetori and utsuP because of all the hype, but managed only to doze off to their music. Asked my metalfag younger brother to listen and he said it was bretty good, so I was at fault.

The only rock ones that have piqued my interest since C83 were 5150, Iron-Attack, Kinema106 and AkatsukiRecords.

No, the MD5 on a properly split file should be the same as the MD5 on the original one ([CUE] in that image).
If it's not, then that means it was split incorrectly.
Foobar and CUETools have the same MD5, medieval is the only one that differs, because it doesn't split files correctly. Not only does it not split files correctly, it actually throws away some of the audio in between songs.

Also, those MD5 and CRC isn't of the actual file, it's of the raw audio data, so tags won't affect that at all.
