Looks like the fifth FKG LN is going to feature Lily Wood's haughty lady Cocklebur, and the second episode collection (short story anthology) will be released alongside it on February.

She apparently uses a whip, which is pretty appropriate for her plant. Calla-style caltrops would be fitting too, though cocklebur is nowhere as bad as nature's actual caltrops.

The 40/5 map is doable for MC farming too. Possibly better if your luck is good enough to get 3-4 x5 drops consistently. Drop rate is definitely lower than the 90/12 though.

Something worth noting - the new stamina only event maps give way more account exp and gold per stam than any other map (except gold dailies, of course). They're 20 exp/stam and 120 gold/stam (3star), whereas later story missions are around 15 exp/stam and 75 gold/stam.

This can be useful, especially for newer players who are still grinding account levels for the bonuses at certain levels.

Yeah, 7 was way above average, especially since one of the rainbows was the one I wanted the most (Mimosa, who is the best rainbow on grounds of being the only glasses rainbow). ~3-4 should be the expected number of free rainbows for DMM old-timers.

Kodaibana map still destroys me though, even with an almost fully bloomed team. Let's see if I can add another rainbow into the mix for the second anniversary, or win the DMM raffle somehow for two 5000-point deals.

Witch-specific familiars could be cool. Despia gets her cat, Yuyu gets pumpkins, Ryuryu gets the teddy bear, Eliza gets a snowman and so on.

It should be character-based though, none of this "everyone gets the cat fairy, plus Farne loses her charm (read: glasses) because we hate summoners" nonsense. Summoners should've gotten their contracted beasts as tokens anyway, deployable Phoenix with defense buff/huge regeneration within range + ability to make Farne attack during skill downtime would've easily redeemed her.

They are pretty solid for a free character. There are worse rainbows out there, Dogwood for example.

She has the 1.2x skill up ability, a 3-target skill and the capacity to get at least to 3 slots without investment. Comparing her to Saintpaulia is a major understatement, she's clearly ahead of even top-tier golds (Justicia, Water Hyacinth, miko Anemone etc.) and some rainbows like Helenium.

It's rare in high end content for her to be able to get close enough to kill things with Cocytus without dying herself. In addition, she's pretty negligible when her skill isn't up, so she seems to fall into the role of being dropped down in a place where she can actually be used for her skill on some wave and then being retreated once it ends.

No. There's a fodder unit called a Platinum Armor that gives 1000 base exp (so up to 8k with 3 same-rarity fairies). Obtainable from Monday Daily and some events.

On DMM, there's also Black Armors (5k base exp), 18k/19k exp fairies, and 150k exp fairies.

These 2 have one of the highest in game stat, even higher than most golds so I don't think it would be a fair comparison. Not to mention they are also bloomed.
And Pauline only has the same amount of HP as Alstroemeria, and absolutely shittier in everything else. I don't call that's "on par".
You may want to check their raw stat using wiki instead of that in-game sort.

You're forgetting that it's +25% attack for those two members as opposed to Oncidium's +10% for the entire party. Oncidium is also stuck with a single target x2.3 skill with 20%/30% chance of triggering while Alstroemeria has a 3 target x2.0 skill with 20%/25% chance of triggering. Party speed boost's usage can vary wildly between team formations.

Oncidium edges out in stats thanks to 2nd evolution and their attack boosts vary between a consistent boost or a bigger boost to 2 random party members, but the number of enemies targeted by their skills is a noticeable difference. The competition is closer with Oxalis, but she sure doesn't straight up lose out until Oxalis gets a 2nd evolution.

Alstroemeria loses out against top tier golds like Justicia, but she's not "mediocre gold" when you consider how many golds are stuck with Solar Drive related abilities or abilities that are made for boss battles but just aren't useful for regular missions. Rainbow Alstroemeria is a solid all-around choice unless you have a legion of rainbows or got blessed with lots of top tier golds.

Her real problem is that after 350 days of playing there's a good chance you've already built up a decent collection of useful golds and she doesn't particularly stand out against those. She would likely be way more useful to most people if she was obtained at something like 150 days. Being rainbow is actually a detriment too, since you can only buy one skill up for her every 25 days or so and it costs 500 Life Crystals.

Ignoring their attack-up skills (which are more or less equivalent) and equipment, skill-maxed Alstroemeria has ~6% lower attack/skill damage per turn compared to bloomed, skill-maxed Justicia (you can just multiply numbers for these because pest defense practically doesn't exist). Taking into account best-of-the-line equipment for both, skill-maxed Alstroemeria has ~17% higher attack/skill damage per turn compared to bloomed, skill-maxed Justicia (as event girls will attest, extra equipment slots matter a lot). Justicia is also, bar Cymbidium, probably the best gold in the game, and has a bloomed form where Alstroemeria does not.

I don't know why we're even having this debate. Alstroemeria is a weak rainbow, but unless you're a whale and can afford slot flowers/extra copies for your rainbows/top golds, you're going to use her on your team. And while Nutaku's Christmas gift is great, you can also easily argue that a guaranteed sub-par rainbow is the average of 50% rainbow and 50% gold.

Come to think about it, gifting Alstroemeria to everyone would handily shut up these "I didn't get a rainbow so this promotion is a wall of shit" people. Nutaku might want to try that next.

Tried to figure it out for myself. Looks like there are eight different skills, buyable with various currencies (everything from gold to gacha seeds to life crystals). Of the eight skills, four are exclusive to gold+, and two of those are rainbow-only. The other four can be applied as far down as grass units. They seem to be stuff like team speed up/down, skill activation increases, chances at an extra attack in a turn, crit boosts, and a few other things I'm a little sketchier on the details of. My assumption is that you can only apply one at a time per unit.

It's a little much for me to figure out with what little I can read, but it looks neat.

You purchase the skill once and then set it on as many of your units as you want, as long as they meet the star requirement.
Skills are set per unit AND team, so even if I gave Saffron crit damage+ for her spot in team 1, she won't have it set in team 2 or the whale team, unless I specifically set it there as well.

Oh also, in the rewards it mentions an example of giving out 250 Magic Crystals, which might sound a lot if you play Aigis/FKG where it costs 5 to roll, but in Kamihime it costs 300 to roll.

And for people unfamiliar with Kamihime/Granblue, when you roll Pre-reg you can get either a Princess or a Monster Summon (both are female), but a Princess (playable character) is better than a Summon. But Monster Summons in the Pre-reg go up to SSR while the girls only go up to SR. All the Princesses have H-Scenes, even the Rs, but only SSR Summons have H-Scenes if that helps you decide.

Your team is a Heroic Spirit (special girl in 1st Slot) + 6 Kamihime (only 4 of which are on the field at the start, the other 2 swap in when someone on your side dies). You also have 6 + 1 (friend) Eidolon, that provide passive buffs, and then do damage + use a buff/debuff when they're Summoned onto the field. Skills don't use up a unit's turn as you can see when this guy uses a bunch of skills on the first turn, but all of his characters attack as normal when he ends his turn.

The only defense buff and heal that worth anything are from SSR himes, which isn't something you can just pull out of your ass. you may use your heroic spirit to do one of those 2 role, but they can't cover both at the same time.
Not to mention plenty of the ragnarok bosses only have 3 or even 2 turns charge time, the dragoons are fine for multi stages battle, but they aren't that useful when you have to fight directly against extremely hard hitting bosses.

Looking ahead at Erun, she'll be my first angel, and I had a question about the skill. It looks like it stays the same name, but changes from 2 block/1 attack, to 3 block/2 attack.
