SDVX is fucking impossible to play on a keyboard since there's no way to quickly move from the mouse back to the keys.

Can someone tell me why people make it so hard to pirate rhythm games?
I don't understand why people have to do all this retarded shit for invites etc. I am not American and the only rhythm game my country has seen is guitar hero, it's already unusual enough to like these things.
I don't feel like wasting my time to just get a game that needs so much time to get good anyways.
>>
>>12456720
If konami cared enough they could literally make all future games uncrackable. The community tries to keep it low key enough that they wont give a shit.

can't get my rotarys to work

I tried several codes.

Pins are working properly, the encoder isn't broken either.

Any ideas?

>>
>>12456147
Why do they bully /jp/?
>>
>>12457275
I don't really know, sorry. I can't think of a reason for that to happen unless you're using the wrong pins. Or maybe you just have a bug in your code when reading the encoders.

Without more information I can't really help, you might be better off asking in the arduino forums, they will probably be more help than me anyway.
>>
Would it be better to use a arduino uno or a teensy for the rotary encoders
>>
>>12457327
You can't use an arduino uno, it doesn't have the ability to control the mouse. Only the arduino leonardo, due and micro can do that.

Other than that I don't know the differences between using a teensy or an arduino. From what I can tell either would work fine though.

I personally used some cheap china made arduino leonardo, and that works fine for me, apart from the bootloader broke, and I have to reupload the code to the board every time I plug it in
>>
>>12457372
>You can't use an arduino uno
you can, it's just very awkward to do
i recommend either a mega or leonardo, since the mega can be used for acrealio
>>
>>12457372
Thanks now I just need to pick one up and remember how to code
>>
>>12457312
they don't really
it's just that the idea is that you should only invite people that you know decently well and trust not to just download every game and never seed and get banned
and an anonymous imageboard is not a good place to make a connection with a person, so it's just giving away invites to strangers, which isn't allowed
>>
>>12457320
I doubt its a bug in the code, since I tried a few.

do you think it helps to reinstall arduino?

Does it matter which programmer you use?
>>
>>12457412
It probably wouldn't hurt to reinstall it, but I'm not sure if it will help. Afaik the programmer you use doesn't matter that much, but I'm no expert.

If you're sure that everything else is fine then it might be a problem with the board. Can you get other programs to run properly on it?

It's a little unclear. 2014 is technically just an update to 2013 with 80% of the new songs being hated by everyone in the US bemani community. I know of quite a few places that are still just running 2013 on PW.

It's probably just being put on the back burner while djhackers prep for lapistoria on PW and spada on psun. It certainly doesn't help that tau and anthony had a falling out recently.
>>
>>12459165
i guess djhackers was overdue for drama anyway
>>
anyone else thinks it's dumb that we have to be underground and shit just to play these types of games?

i'd love to play these games with other people, but the whole underground torrent thing for bemani games seems a bit off to me
>>
>>12459395
Blame Konami. Even if they did bring this shit over, they'd fuck it up just like Jubeat.
>>
>>12459395
the only times you have to be underground is when talking about data
if someone is actually interested then they'll be able to seek out the tools necessary, not everything needs to be easily accessible for the masses
>>
post your setups, /jp/.

i'm in the market for a couple controllers, but i'm not sure what to get. i've got my eye on Dao's SVRE7, whenever he gives us more details on it, and the FPS. i'd also like a pop'n controller, but i'm not sure if it would be worth it to grab Dao's over building my own.
>>
so i got shat on for posting a picture of SDVX yet people can stream it with 1k+ viewers lol

I made a rhythm game general on /vg/ in hopes of having a slightly more active thread, but I think it's going to die overnight. If someone here could keep it alive for a bit, that would be great.
>>
>>12460297
The reason it's here in the first place is because there isn't enough discussion to keep it alive on a faster board like /vg/.
>>
>>12451872
looks like a colossal waste of time
>>
Goddamn it, now I have to actually build my SDVX controller.
>>
>>12460316
Why are you here? Go back to /v/.
>>
I need some ideas for my cheap IIDX controller. I've got a rotary encoder for the turntable that works perfectly, analog movement with great resolution, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the actual turntable.

At the moment I'm using a piece of cardboard, but I want something in plastic, 15cm diameter. Also, what's the best way to reduce friction to make it spin smoothly? I figure waxpaper will work.
>>
I was playing 11s for a month now and i'm really frustrated now. Improvement is almost non-existent and i just don't have motivation to continue playing. Should i just take a break for some time or keep forcing myself to play even tho i hate it?
>>
>>12460768
If you don't enjoy it, don't do it.
>>
>>12460316
He says as he posts on /jp/.
>>
>>12460819
I'm just afraid that it will take forever to regain my skill when i will want to start playing again.
>>
>>12460844
The break helps. I played SDVX and pop'n for a while and got better scores in IIDX when I came back.
>>
>>12460724
What encoder are you using? I am looking to build up a controller as well and may CAD it up in the near future.
>>
>>12460911
Some 15 dollar chink one, the cheapest they had that wasn't one of those awful mouse wheel types. Bought a second one to use with SDVX, but I need to build the box for that still.

600P/R, doesn't miss a beat when connected to an arduino. Probably overkill for SDVX, but just right for IIDX.
>>
>>12460958
And in case it wasn't obvious, from eBay. Here's a link to it.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/6MM-600P-R-Photoelectric-Rotary-Encoder-Incremental-DC-5-24V-AB-Two-Phases-Shaft-/261430664298?pt=UK_BOI_Industrial_Automation_Control_ET&hash=item3cde7b5c6a
>>
>>12460958
Decent feel/resistance when turning? Might order a few for SDVX/IIDX
>>
>>12460987
I've got nothing to compare them to, but they're smooth with friction that feels right. With a knob, they won't move at all after letting go, with a turntable you'll get a bit of spin if you're trying to spin it.

Holy shit I discovered this a few days ago because of that one streamer on twitch and I was interested in it but Jesus man I thought 4chan was the king of being elitists asshole but this fucking community is like 10x worse.

All I wanted to do is play video games not joining some IRC shit and become friend with a bunch of normalfags just so I can MAYBE get a invite to some private torrent tracker.

Y'all nigga suck
>>
>>12461597
There needs to be some other way to get an invite. Because it's literally impossible to get invite for people with social phobias and shit.
>>
>>12461597
>>12461611
I've been playing Bemani games for years and while you do need an invite to Psun (which is really easy even for autists), I've never used Sows and always got my data from public trackers.
>>
>>12461597
first off, not all of us are assholes.

second, the reason the game is so hidden is because we do NOT want konami taking this shit down. the game NEEDS internet connection to boot (which is being ran by some guys over who have the data) and if konami were to find out that, they'd shut it down + everyone wouldn't be able to play it

there's a lot of us that are trying to help others, then there's the people that are scared of this stuff getting around because of konami because they're known to sue for everything
>>
>>12461597
Just wait a few days for the data to get leaked, you fucking scrub. It takes a few minutes of googling to find the first SDVX if you're that impatient.

While that's possible (and I don't doubt you), there is definitely a delay in release on sows and release on public trackers. I personally really want SDVXII when it comes out, but I know I'm going to be hard pressed to find a download when it does, because I'm not on sows. I have a working version of Booth, but my favorite songs were all released with II.

Konami knows about Sows and the private e-amuse network in the west. They haven't cracked down on it yet because they know it's very small and if it stays that way, then they aren't losing much money.
>>
>>12461629
>>12461624
Pretty sure they were streaming together while on Teamspeak or some shit.

I hate both of those faggots too.
>>
personally here's my take on this whole thing:

if you're going to stream it and NOBODY knows about the game, having 1k+ viewers, don't be an elitist. i've seen this happen on cirno's + horos stream, where someone asks where to get this game it's pretty much a "fuck you i have it you don't" kind of answer

it happened a lot last night and it was incredibly unfair to those actually trying to find out resourceful information about the game

there's a LOT of people that want to play this game. don't be an asshole about it. i know people are trying to get the data hidden, but if it's going to be continued to be viewed by thousands of people then it's going to get leaked soon enough
>>
just go back to your osu
>>
>>12461634
or maybe it's not a good idea to give out information to get a cracked arcade game to 1000 people
see >>12461630
>>
Seriously I know Cirno mean no harm but you know you are a popular streamer who get 2000+ viewers a day what the fuck did he would happen if you stream something like that?

Every minute there was someone asking how to get this and the answer were all ''lol you can't''
>>
>>12461634
it's not hard at all to get the first game. if they're really interested, they can get their hands on that with minimal effort and be content with it for a little while. sdvx2 has been on sows for 2 fucking days, have a little patience for the inevitable leak.

personally, i'm pretty happy with how "exclusive" the bemani community is. it keeps the idiots out.
>>
>>12461655
i'm also on sows but i was really upset when i found out how everything was being handled.

also, it keeps the idiots out? i don't know about you; but there's some pretty dumb people over at sows as well. considering how many leechers there are right now (had 2 links but it was noted as spam, sorry) the data is being handled with WAY too loosely and that's how this shit gets out. these 2 guys joined in less then 24 hours, grabbed SDVX II + bemanitools/configs and ran. it's only a matter of time before one of them uploads it to a public tracker like TPB or some shit like that
>>
>>12461655
>personally, i'm pretty happy with how "exclusive" the bemani community is. it keeps the idiots out.

Agreed, even though I do want to share bemani to new people, I also want to keep the community tight knit.

if you want an invite just to download SDVX2 just because you saw it on some stream, you're not getting one, so go away
>>
>>12461669
Yeah, I don't know why there is some kind of protection against new members grabbing AC data. You would think that that entire torrent category would be off limits to people that haven't been members for X months.

Or the download could just be capped based on ratio or something, which would make downloading something as large as AC data impossible for most.
>>
>>12461681
Nope, anything like that would make too much sense. Just let some tards in, then they leech the fucking data and steam it to a crowd of thousands of utter morons who will then proceed to post about it everywhere.

I was wondering why the posting rate was so fast, nice to know we have twitch mouthbreathers shitting up everything.
>>
sows is fucking dumb anyway. keeping your ratio up is fucking impossible there because of all the faggots with seedboxes

>you're not getting one, so go away

Seriously? This is how it's supposed to be handled? That's completely being an elitist. You really think a game like SDVX isn't going to get a few questions raised? Some people actually enjoy rhythm games and happened to find out about this game; do you really think they deserve to be shot down by this shit because "we're an exclusive club lololol u can get it if u google"

Because no, you really can't get it if you google. If you have NO traces of anyone in the bemani community, your best bet it to be begging in IRC dicksucking someone until they crack or spamming /r/invites on reddit

i agree that leaving someone who's actually interested in it without any kind of direction is sort of cruel, but i still laugh when i see posts saying like "i've been chatting on irc for a whole week where's my invite for sdvx2!!"
of course it can't keep *all* the idiots away from arcade data, and it sucks that it only takes one person to plaster it all over the internet, but it's way better than a public site anyway
>>12461691

i don't think anyone minds at all when people come into irc and ask questions, it's just the blatant invite begging and bitching about how the community is elitist because you can't get an invite in less than a day and after saying 2 words in chat
>>
>>12461708
i literally downloaded sdvx within the first couple hours that it was released, and got less than 10gb up from it.

there's no way i'll be able to grab spada when it comes out now because for some reason my shit isn't seeding even though it shows that i have peers, and there are definitely leechers.

Arguments about whether the behavior is elitist or not aside, is there really any reason not to be elitist. There are no downsides to being protective, and a lot to lose if they're too generous.

Playing SDVX II on a huge stream is retarded in the first place.

You're the exact kind of high risk member that data needs to be protected from. If you couldn't be bothered until now, waiting for a few months shouldn't be a big deal.

I feel like there was some kind of policy that prevented new members from grabbing AC data in the past (Power Users only maybe?), but it was years ago and my memory is bad, so I could be making that up.

Why do people want this shit when you have to spend $600 to play it properly? You think your mice are a good substitute for a controller? Unlike IIDX, this game requires specialized hardware to play without looking (and playing) like a spastic.

If you want, there's sdvx 1 data out there on public sites. If you want it that bad, go and find it.
>>
>>12461815
SDVX costs 40 bucks if you already have an IIDX controller you can turn upside-down. Add another 30 bucks if you don't have one to make a hybrid controller for both games.
>>
>>12461815
>$600 to play it properly

Dao's real edition controller is *only* $500 shipped. There are also much cheaper ($250 ish shipped) controllers available.
>>
>>12461597
Who was streaming? Cause I feel like I know the elitist asshole you are talking about.
>>
>>12461824
That's an even less intuitive way than mice under your palms. Trust me, I tried everything to get a working setup before the real edition DAO came out. Mice under palms and a keyboard allowed me to clear 14s.

>>12461825

>>12461866
dao buttons for iidx are fine if you don't want to shell out the money for sanwa buttons. it's very important to get sanwa switches, though.
>>
>>12461866
The DAO IIDX buttons aren't terrible, but the large square sdvx buttons are horrible. The rectangle IIDX buttons require a bit of cleaning and/or sanding, but they feel pretty good. Whatever you do, don't get honeywell switches. They're light. Too light.
>>
>>12461866

>>
>>12461866
Dao IIDX buttons are mostly fine, people are reporting that the big SDVX Dao buttons stick a lot
>>
>>12461866

dao buttons are fine. its rainbow ones that are bad. dont listen to this idiot.
>>
>>12461876
To expand on this, your best bet would be 1c3 Omrons (50g). They cost $30 for a set, but are slightly cheaper from sanwadenshi if you decide to buy them later along with sanwa buttons. Omrons alone are 7*$2.70, but the shipping from sanwadenshi makes it more expensive unless you're ordering more than just the microswitch.

>>12461868
I's not so much about being loud, it's about the feeling. They feel clunky and hollow, and get stuck a lot more often. Sanwa 40mm buttons feel much smoother, and have a far more precise feeling

>>
>>12461924

>>
>>12461924
Just buy the sanwa buttons yourself, you'll save crazy money.
>>
>>12461924
He's coming out with a simple edition controller which should be around $250-$300. Depending on how much he wants to charge for sanwa buttons for the real edition, you're probably better off buying them from rakuten. http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sanwadenshi/item/ilumb_080/ x4

No ramp.

These are 100% compatible with the svre9. That being said, the DAO buttons are bad, yeah. But they're not unusable.

>>12461981

From what I've seen both of them do the same thing. stream sdvx and other games, and disregard people's questions about where to get the game, which is what they should be doing. The reason people are so secretive illuminati elitists is to protect the people who offer this data and make it all possible. You have to appreciate a good thing, or else there won't be any more good things.

The japanese store is far easier to navigate, these are the ones you want:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/sanwadenshi/ilumb_080
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/sanwadenshi/ilumb_100
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/sanwadenshi/ilumb_016

They don't come with switches, so you will need 6 of these

Pretty sure cirno bought a 200$ controller just to play it. Nothing is wrong with it as no information is shared. Its just the curious people that get their hands on leakers data
>>
>>12464359
im not saying he shouldnt play it
>>
>>12464362
Well yeah, its not cirnos fault people get curious about it. I mean come on, its SDVX

I checked Sows every single day for the last few months for a SDVX II upload. Every single day.
I decide to go away from home for 3 days and I come back to it being uploaded the day after I leave. God damn it.
>>
>>12464409
There's a public leak already. Why waste ratio?
>>
>>12462974
it came straight from taus mouth
>>
>>12464417
Well, too late now. It's not like this is going to have any affect on my ratio anyway. It's a shame it got leaked though, I hope someone doesn't fuck it up and get it into the wrong hands.
>>
>>12463632
Very cool. Bad Maniacs is probably the easiest 10+ to clear, though I think it's harder to AAA than some of the other "easy" 10+s. I'd suggest giving Hollywood Galaxy, Broken, FLOWER, and STELLAR WIND a shot.

I've managed to clear every 10+, and I'm currently working on clearing everything else because I don't play below 10+s enough.
>>
>>12464429
>wrong hands
>already in a grey enough area being said this is a pirated arcade game

yeah we're fucked.
>>
>>12464417
Implying ratio is hard to get. People go ham on freeleech/when new data drops. I've almost got 700gb uploaded with only 60gb down.

>>12464429
>>12464444
Data is pretty much open to everyone if they know where to look/know the right people. Japanese users show off data over on 2ch all the time knowing full well that Konami employees frequent the boards.

this is why we have the restrictions we do now

So, I'm gonna be living in Japan for 2 months come December, am I no longer going to be allowed to play my SDVX or how does that work?

bring some money

sdvx is fucking expensive in japan (200 yen)
>>

uh, thats completely wrong, stop going to overpriced arcades
>>
>>12464417
Give me a hint. I've got the name, but where should I be searching?
>>

most places I went to in japan were priced at 200-250

I was just gonna hang out at HEY

>>12464497
every arcade i went to in tokyo was running 100yen/120(i think)paseli per credit for sdvx, the only bemani game i saw for 200yen/credit was beatstream and that was on release day, even then i heard other arcades were running it at 100yen/credit

>>12464503
i went a few days after II was released, glad the price changed

also, beat stream blows but the cabinet is sexy

You're only there temporarily, so nobody will care. I assume you already have everything you need, so it won't magically stop working for you once your IP is Japanese.

Aw shit, now I'm excited again. Time to dust off the pad in anticipation
>>

Does anyone know the type of springs used in the real SDVX machine? Like how many grams of force?

darqs mentioned 250 grams in one of his videos. Other people seem to have confirmed something between 200 and 250 on the actual machines.

maybe you guys should as well instead of trying to ruin it for everyone by circulating the data in public
>>
So why exactly can't/won't anybody give an inkling of information about the acquisition of this game?

I feel like i'm missing something here.
>>
>>12465853
Because we're all trying to fly under Konami's radar. While the community is small, they won't care. There's enough information in this thread to get the game if you're willing to go searching though.
>>
>>12465877
I spent a few hours searching the other day with piss poor results. Pretty much just things telling me how i'll never get it without "knowing people". So I gave up on getting it.

I just wanted to know why its so taboo to give any info at this point. So if the game became widespread Konami would do what, exactly? Just shut the entire thing down? They can't exactly ban anonymous people for telling others how to play the game.
>>
>>12465898
>Just shut the entire thing down?
most modern bemani games require a network to run, if konami deems it an issue then the network will be shut down
no network = no games
>>
>>12465898
they can kill off the person who secures the data for us
>>
>>12465898
But they can shut the private network and the data source down.
>>
>>12465898
The other thing they could do is fixing the encryption methods on their arcade games. Other arcade game developers manage to make much better protection.
>>
>>12465924
>on who secures the data for us

maimai (washing machine) is uncrackable

not sure why konami won't get their shit together
>>
>>12465930
I really hope they don't
>>
>>12465930
Maybe they're just being bros about the whole thing. Surely they make a fuckton of money even with the cracks, right?
>>
>>12465936
precisely

i'm sure konami gives zero shits if a few bemanillions are playing sdvx under their nose

but if it's on a public tracker then yeah, it may be an issue
>>
>>12465936
Yes and we don't want to ruin that by just letting it run wild and leak back into their markets of Japan/Korea/etc.
>>
>>12465936
i like to think that this is true
so long as the leaks remain in the west then it's not encroaching on konami's market, therefore they turn a blind eye to it
>>
I think it's inevitable that at some point we will be unable to play the arcade games this way. Let's not give them reason to hurry though.

>>12465919
>>12465920

Thanks for the answers, curiosity was eating away at me.

Kind of shitty that they'd do that just because some people outside of japan want to play the game.
>>
>>12465898
since none of the replies are helpful to you and you want it bad enough to spend hours searching
check the archive for previous rhythm game threads on here, and you'll definitely be able to get it
>>
Anyone have a guide to make a SDVX controller? And it is hard to make one?

400$+shipping is way too much.
>>
>>12465898

The issue isn't even Konami, necessarily. Arcade data got moved to N-1 after the DJHackers releases blew up in official eAmuse regions, which made the data source freak out. If we lose our source, that's pretty much it for both home and arcade Bemani updates in the west. Obviously there's a difference between piracy here and in Japan, given that we have no other 'legal' access to games, but it's better to be safe than sorry. So, if you want access to games and tech support from the community, you have to prove you're not a total mongoloid first. My condolences.
>>
>>12465976
I'll take another look, then.

The means to find the data was literally posted in this thread. Geez you guys really need to be spoon-fed huh. That was probably the quickest leak ever though.

Guys just play K-shoot mania or whatever. If you really want to play hang out in the IRC, or maybe even go to your local rhythm arcade and chat with some people.

>>12465984
If you want arcade quality you're shit outta luck. However if you just want to slap some shit together you can make one for around 55$ Using IIDX buttons and an arduino. Ill post an english language guide eventually.

can anyone give like a quick breakdown of how fun each game is at various levels of play? just beginner, intermediate, and advanced is fine. the main ones i'm looking at right now are iidx, sdvx, and pop'n.

i'm probably going to buy an iidx controller first, then one for sdvx, then one for pop'n last. i've heard lower level pop'n is really fun though.

should i consider playing any other games too, or are these three good?
>>
>>12467065
For me, IIDX didn't get really really fun until I got "good." Clearing 11's on another kinda good. Still pretty fun to practice though.

SDVX and Pop'n are fun through all levels of skill, though Pop'n has a much higher skill cap.
>>
>>12466557
Honestly, I really don't see much of a point in going for arcade accurate when it comes to SDVX. An upturned IIDX pad and something to hold a couple of rotary encoders and an arduino in place is all you need.

I understand it for shit like pop'n, where the button spacing is a big part of the game mechanics, but for SDVX the buttons are very close already. Your hands are a little closer together on an IIDX controller, but the skills should transfer from home to arcade almost 1:1.
>>
>>12467088
how long did it take you to get up to clearing 11s?
>>
>>12467113
About a year of constant playing. It is still fun to play from the beginning, but it just feels really good to go fast.
>>
So how do you get into sows
>>
>>12467208
If you blow every person who has posted in this thread today I'll give you an invite.
>>
>>12467208
In all seriousness. Hang around the IRC, just don't be a shit who just joins and spams "I'm here for an invite! Give me an invite!". The whole idea behind sows is to keep a private community that isn't full of shits whom will either:
a) Fuck over everyone and not follow the rules.
b) Share files outside of Sows which are only intended for users of Sows

I'm not going to go into detail about why it is meant to be established like this, I think the last 20+ posts did a pretty good job of explaining it.
>>
Cool thanks bud
>>
>>12465930
Iirc gf/dm has some good encryption which hasn't been cracked
>>
>>12467112
Wrong. In SDVX you don't just glue your fingers on the buttons. Most of the high level shit require you to manage all 6 with one hand, and this is where the button size matter. Try doing I'm So Happy EXH or any song with a one hand 3-chord on an ASC.
>>

Is there any simple way to set up the fucking keypad input in SDVX? In IIDX I had to go to a lot of trouble to find an old version of libacio that worked with my keyboard, and that doesn't work with SDVX so I'm stuck with the retarded default that doesn't support my keyboard no matter what I do. It all works during config, but no buttons work in game.
>>
>>12467467
Just use 2 mice, man.
>>
>>12467393
Well do tell where you found some
>>
>>12467471
I've got the controller all set up, I'm talking about the one retarded aspect of bemanitools where they think everyone owns the exact same keyboard. What I wouldn't give for bindable "insert card" and "auto-enter code" buttons. But no, I have to hope that my + sign is the same one they're expecting.
>>

>>
>>12467791
Thanks for letting us all know that a game created for the arcades might not be playable if you download a hacked version and don't have the specific controller needed to play it.

my advice is don't bother with using a mouse, it's more trouble than it's worth

>>
>>12468457
wow, calm down, i didn't say the others wasn't, but you need the ASC to have fun with those.
>>
>>12468461
You can't have fun with Pop'n without a controller either.

You can play a dumbed down version where you can hit every button at the same time like a moron.
>>
>>12468466
ok, then you win, and i'm wrong, sorry for say wrong stuff and have a opinion.
>>
>>12467065
IIDX: The first week is really shitty. When you get to intermediate a lot more options become available and it keeps getting better from there.

pop'n: If you're playing SP, it has a fuckhuge songlist and wide chart variety, so it's fun throughout all levels.

SDVX: Low level is fun because woooooooooow what are these knobs. Intermediate is pretty shitty because there isn't a nice enough ramp from 13 to 14 (as opposed to the progression from 11 to 12, 12 to 13 etc.), the game kicks you out if you fail a song -> more downtime between plays if you got unlucky and picked a bullshit song, a LOT of the (better) shit have to be unlocked, and the majority of Vocaloid songs are located here so hopefully you are immune to that. Once you get to high 14-15 though the game becomes vastly better.

Heads up: If anyone buys a gamo2 sdvx controller buy keyboard lube with it since the buttons stick really easily and it will be near impossible to do anything above level7 on this controller without keyboard lube (or alternative). Once you do get keyboard lube (or again a alternative) this is pretty much the best and most arcade accurate sdvx asc out there. (even though as far as my knowledge goes there is only even 3 places you can buy them from right now)

you can get a seedbox for like $10 a month.

you'll only need it for a month or two to get a bunch of ratio and then you'll be able to download whatever your want after that.
