I watched the cosplay world summit live this weekend. Russia got rightfully the first place with a funny, action-packed zelda/link couple show. Japan's action scene was just awful, and the USA had some ?? as representatives.

I am sorry, but it seems weird you have not installed Namaroku to record yet.
It will record any of your favorite users whenever they go live, then you can take screenshots whenever you want.
You can just delete what you don't want afterwards if you have little disk space.

The chances of anyone knowing this or even anyone who watches bug play videos around here is low but I'll try anyway.

Years ago I watched a guy called ????? and his series of bug play videos. Then one day his account vanished, all those hundreds of hilarious bug videos lost.
What happened?

If you're talking about an English version of Niconico it's still alive. Just go down to the bottom and change your region and language settings. The comments for videos are even on a different server, although video descriptions are either translated manually by a user or google translated. If you're talking about when they used to release anime like regular niconico they stopped that, although they're doing it for Sailor Moon now I think.

It's because nobody wanted to use a slower, clunkier version of YouTube. Also, they separated the Japanese and English comments because it would scare the Japanese special snowflakes. What really lost my interest is that they didn't go to English-speaking conventions with English speaking hosts anymore. Last I heard, everybody who used to do that got fired.
