I can't really advise on the method since I learned it in school.

You should look out for how the spelling of a word changes when it's conjugated to the preterite in the first person. Since verbs in the first person preterite often end with an -e, if it ends with a -go in the first person present and is an ar verb it will become -gué instead of gé so that the spelling matches the pronunciation.

For research purposes you can grow trees inside a greenhouse for their first few years. I'm handling saplings. They're about four or five years old at this point. Although there are some bigger trees in here but I think they're mostly for decoration at this point
And yeah I'm the only person in these specific greenhouses so I tend to listen to music or practice my language all day. It's kind of nice but it's still really fucking hot

When one doubles a consonant mid-word, then, yes, the shadda is put over a single consonant (like the 'l' in 'teacher', first example).

The definite article is different: if the word begins with a harfu ash-shamsi, then a shadda is put over the initial letter of the word (like the 'r' in 'man', second example).

Lam is also a harf ash-shamsi, so a shadda should go over words beginning with a lam (like the 'l' in 'language', third language). And so also with 'Allah', since 'lah' means 'a god'.

I don't think you're being objective about this. I'm assuming your're the francophone learning Russia, so let me use an example which you might be a bit more familiar with (and which I am certainly more familiar with): Quebec French.

Thus, I'm not at all of the opinion that Quebec French is fundamentally inferior, or even wrong. It has its own etymologies, its own unique phonology, its history, etc. A language can't be "wrong" as far as I'm concerned. However, Quebec French is still not equal to standard French in regards to certain settings (especially academic and professional ones), because, again, it's not at all standardized and not conform with what is the international standard (even if the only people reading/listening are Québécois). Therefore, I think it's perfectly acceptable to be prescriptivist and say that you should use standard French when writing a report, rather than Québécois French.

Yes, it "can" be like that. But I'm sure you'll agree that the odds of Québécois French being less clear are significantly higher than the odds of standard French being unclear. The example above is a good example of this. And in technical writing, it's often important to be as precise as possible, which requires rigorous standardization.

Of course, the "source" of this standardization in French is highly political. This ties in with what I was saying at the beginning: no dialect/language is "wrong". Some just happened to gain an upper hand and impose their norms (or sometimes even invent new ones altogether). But regardless of the historical reasons, those norms are important as they currently are, for they are what allows one to be concise and clear.

In colloquial speech yes, but in any sort of sustained speech, I don't think so, it would simply be out of place, which, if anything, would be distracting and puzzling, thus making it less clear. In writting it's even worse, since there's absolutely no standardization, and thus there's no clear way of distinguishing "a-tu" (which means "a-t-elle" and which has an 'a' pronounced like /a:/) from "as-tu" (which has an 'a' pronounced kinda like /ɑ/). Many people reading "a-tu" would assume it's "as-tu" instead.

Of course, if there actually was a standardized version, and we were instructed in this standardized version from primary school to university, then it would be a completely different story. If that happened, probably Québécois would end up being classified a separate language by many, rather than just a dialect.
