Welcome and thank you for participating!

>my polish is not what it used to be
Because it was not Polish.

Welcome to the /EU/ general!
\o/
>>78353506
Are you sure?
That makes a lot more sense :^)
what are the main points of reform that the EU should pursue?
I think the most crucial things are
- delegation of power away from the EC to the European parliament
- establishment of actually effective border controls
If those two things would be accomplished, I think the EU would have a much better internal standing

In Polish it would be:
Nie jesteśmy braćmi z Bułgarami.
Still understandable, I guess.
>>78353598
>establishment of actually effective border controls
Land borders are not that problematic. The problem is that massive body of water to the south...
>>78353751
>Still understandable, I guess.
When there is context sure. But without any context it would be impossible, especially with the way the sentence is structured.

-full-blown defense union with centralized EU military headquarter
-downgrade English from working language status and start returning to French as the primary language like before the UK joined
-Eurozone finance minstry + Eurozone budget
-harmonized tax union with transfer payments
-move the parliament from Strasbourg and give them more EU agencies instead
-give the parliament legislative initiative and more powers
-finish the multilateral association agreement with micro states
lads

Badcome you mean, fuck EU and fuck white people
>>78354001
Quite ironic that the person talking about gaining back independence doomed his country to eternal periphery status and de facto vassaldom.

I still think that this is a bad idea.

Thank you for your invaluable input!
EU is like Islam. Disagree with their principles and try to walk away, you will soon find out.
>>78353598
The parliament has plenty of power, nothing can be approved without their approval
I do agree though, they should be the only legislative body
>>78354090
Quite a lot changed actually, now they will have to keep paying into the budget for economical access and accept most legislation without getting a vote or even a say in anything.
Just like you guys, you are paying more than like half of the EU wjoöe countries like Malta and Croatia at least get to vote or veto on legislation that you guys have to nod off.

You are only saying this because you are biased due to your own personal English proficiency.
The EU needs another language distinct from the Anglosphere in a multipolar world were the US and the UK stopped being reliable allies.

Yes and don't forget to pray facing Brussels praising the name of the EU parliament at least 5 times a day or you'll never make it into EU heaven :^)
>>78354257
>You are only saying this because you are biased due to your own personal English proficiency.
No.It's not that.Where in the last thread?I have my plan to incorporate all EU languages into all countries.
>>78354257
Tbh english is useful as a lingua franca because it's rather simple
>>78353853
>especially with the way the sentence is structured.
That's the price you pay for not having cases and inflexion in your language.
I can understand Bulgarian pretty well, though, it's like Slavic English.
>>78354397
Bulgarian is even easier :^)
All jokes aside, yes English is easier but at what cost? There are things that simply can't be expressed in English.
For crying out loud we have 50+ words and phrases for 'fuck'.How can English even compete :^)
>>78354456
>I can understand Bulgarian pretty well, though, it's like Slavic English.
>Slavic English
I've never been more insulted in my life!!
>>78354066

>>78354570
Sure, but the aim of a lingua franca is to allow two people who speak different native languages to communicate via a third language
It doesn't need poetic complexity. English has no grammatical cases, english has no grammatical gender, english has no complicated conjugations, and english's synthax is absurdly easy to bend -You can end sentences with prepositions for fuck's sake-
It's simplicity allows for non-proficient speakers to communicate easily; and that's what makes a lingua franca good.
I do agree though, in the event of further unification children should learn at least another european language other than their own and english.
>>78354248
I'm glad we're leaving. Just think it's laughable how much of a big deal France and Germany want to make it.
>B-b but you still have to pay billions of shekels
>And we wont sell anything to you unless you keep keep letting people in
pathetic. we'll come out the other end though. fuck the EU, but ever so especially FUCK Germany. If it weren't for you and your godqueen, we probably would have stayed.
>>78354700
It was a compliment. Bulgarian is the easiest Slavic language to learn probably, it could be a Slavic lingua franca, if artificial languages like Slovio are put aside. Especially that Russian has a lot of Bulgarian words. Only west Slavs could struggle to learn Bulgarian, but west Slavs are not even Slavs.
>>78354708
Living under a different master is not freedom mate :^)
I see that you are new at this but believe me that there are worse options than the EU.
>>78354893
I know that it was a compliment,i replied in jest, even posted a cute monkey making a tongue face :P

>in the event of further unification children should learn at least another european language other than their own and english
This so much!!!Even more so all EU languages should be learned in all EU members split amongst the population.
From Spanish to Bulgarian, from French to Polish, from German to Greek and so on and so on...
