で、長時間労働は減ったのだろうか?ブラック企業は減ったのだろうか?

答えは否である。電通の事件を見る限り、とても減ったとは思えない。では、何が変わったのか?

「ブラック企業」という言葉が一般的になった。そこから派生して、ブラックバイトやブラック部活という言葉も登場した。一部で「脱社畜」がブームになった。

つまり、10年という歳月を経て、ようやく「日本の働き方は少しおかしいのではないか」ということが、世間に少しだけ認識されるようになったのだ。それでも、まだまだ抵抗を示す人が少なくない。中高年を中心に「働くことこそが人生だ」と考えている風潮は残っている。精神論・根性論も相変わらず幅をきかせている。脱社畜の流れは大いに結構なことだが、自分が働く立場にいる時はワークライフバランスを求めながら、金を払う立場になった途端に「俺は客だぞ」と言わんばかりに傲慢に振る舞うケースはさほど変わっていない。

10年間でこの程度だ。ゲーム、携帯電話やAIといったテクノロジーが、ここ10年で別次元の進歩を遂げたのとは裏腹に。
