long boring story but to illustrate a point:
this happened a couple of years ago

I have a childhood friend,whose dad became relatively well off(a construction company). She decided she wants to pursue industrial design/artfag etc starts uni here and finally gets accepted to her dream German uni starts to learn german intesively to at least have a basic understanding etc. No special priviledge,no free education from
Germany,her dad agrees to bankroll everything,at great expense.

She's quite cute, in that early hipstery sense,but nothing crazy like piercings or pink hair, very slender and pale,looks a bit like Amelie,.
They have some old friends (germans) living there but in the other side of the country who said they'll help them get her accommodation which shouldn't be hard bc she's just a single girl and a student,right?

Wrong, every landlord says no,even to her face and say because she's from Romania they won't take her in,even when she shows them that she's a uni student and that she's not poor(had a new vw convertible at the time)

Finally her dad comes to help and find lodgings at a t*rk who has a furniture restoration business (so a nice side job for her since she's alway been into arts and crafts,made money at home by painting icons), but now her bf,who worked in like add design at home, has to move in with her too(I guess bc turk or bc dodgy area) or whatever.


Idk what happened with her dream uni but there were issues (she's a bit mentally sensitive)because she decided to leave mid year for the UK ,go to an industrial design school there,graduated and now works at a big company over there.

So this is the real german, takes any advantage to demean and ostracise young students and proffesionals who are there to learn but takes in millions of arabs for fear of not being "racist". Don't believe their lies. But it's better for other countries,right?

romanians here are widely regarded is romas or sintis (gypsys), which are very much hated.

it really doesn't suprise me there are alot of areas here in germany where your case is common, especially in rural areas in east and south.
