Memento homo, quia pulvis es, et in pulverem reverteris
Do you have any other Christian films to recommend, anon?
Someone recommended Babette's Feast to me on /tv/, and it's probably my favorite film of all time now.
here in Iceland ash wednesday is almost like halloween, kids dress up and go sing for candy
how is ash wednesday remembered in your country?
meat, excluding fish
If you are really into cinema maybe go with "Andrei Rublev". If you want a alternative (artistic) view on life of Jesus try "The Last Temptation of Christ". There are some controversial segments in it but in the end it still delivers the message of salvation.
btw I've heard that Babette's Feast is the favorite movie of Pope Francis.
TURN BACK TO GOD BEFORE YOUR CITIES COLLAPSE BY HORDES OF DEATH
You had a daily ash wednesday during wwII. Poland apologize for ovening the jews now!
>implying J. R. R. Tolkien wasn't one of the greatest British Chatolics of the 20th century
>implying that The Lord of The Rings isn't fictional struggle between conservative Christian West and those against it
my local pastor proudly boasts his croatian heritage a lot
he's also the most impatient, angry asshole I've ever had to meet
Never mind how I haven't actually cared about any of this since high school, which is around the time he became the pastor of my church
