The amusing part is that most Brits would consider that an extremely large home. What he is doing is taking the average UK home price and then cherrypicking houses from the cheapest markets in the UK.
>>
>>54097865

That's a large shed on a small field + a smaller shed. Why is it half a million pounds? You can pick up a house+land like that out in the country here for about 66k pounds or less.

This argument is getting pretty pathetic. We have houses built in the 19th century made of wood that are standing to this day. The only time you don't want a wood house is if you live in Florida where there are hurricanes and termites.
>>
>>54098067

Most US homes are brick. The cardboard boxes meme only really is true in a few select outer ring suburbs.

>>54098351
There's nothing wrong with houses being made of wood.

Lol stop talking shit -- by every metric we are more livable (that includes gdp per capita). What you're saying is analogous to making your dollar worth 0.5 USDs then boasting about how valuable it is.

Go back to living in your bleak shoebox

>"get your shit."
Meaning what?
Why so angry?
I have no interest in causing shit for anybody if they leave me alone, just I see it as invading my personal space, as I typed before: the Chinks have no property-rights on this house.

What's wrong with him listening to a speaker system inside his own house?

I was in a terraced house in London for a few weeks and only heard the neighbours when they had a party on. Must be terrible construction if you get complaints from putting a stereo on.

I really liked Truro, though it hardly even merits being called a city. Comfy cornish cider, pasties and near thousand year old pubs too just outside the city.

It felt like how England should be - cobbled streets with friendly old ladies and other assorted white people.

It's a new world thing in general. You have the biggest sized sections, but Australia, Canada and us aren't far behind.

Houses on the US East Cost aren't that different.

All of those places are cherry picked, yet it still looks like shit.

British houses are generally fine on the inside, but look ugly as hell. I wouldn't want to live in a terraced house though.

Also the cost as others have said is ridiculous. New Zealanders used to be able to study in London and settle down and buy a house afterwards 20 something years ago.

Now it's impossible

I didn't like the last season so much but there's some brilliant one liners.
