American here, fuck.
Red star is my hometown, for reference.
lel yeah that's about where I am too
My american geography is shit.
However I can name every country in europe and all their capitals and often a lot of different regions and some random facts about them
I learned it all from /int/
Finished learning American geography on Memrise not tool long ago. Otherwise I'd only know TX, CA, NY, FL, HW, NV, WS and LS
Not sure if I got the abbreviations correct btw
A few I'm unsure of: the 3 in the north east and a few in the south, apart from kentucky/tennesee also mississippi/louisana/arkansas/alabama
Dude are you serious?
How do you not know your own countries states?
Fun fact, Kentucky was also part of Virginia.
Kentucky and Tenessee were split off of Virginia and North Carolina respectively to become the 15th and 16th state. Vermont was the 14th, partially because the Green Mountain boys hated New York and rebelled and the state was claimed by both New Hampshire and New York.
I'll be honest, there were three stages to this.
>the ones I know
>trying to think of states and marking where they might be
>putting words in boxes
