What are the Basque like? Are they bro tier?

literal sandniggers
>>
>>53853659
I thought northern Spain wasn't occupied by the moors also they have a separate Haplogroup than the average Spaniard.
>>
>>53853732
The majority of Basques come from all over Spain, Also they like bombs
>>
I hear they are into herding sheep/goats

For some reason a bunch of them live in Idaho, according to my cousin
>>
>>53853633
Strong work ethic, good food, pretty racist, can drink a ton of booze.
>>
dont tell anyone but they did madrid
>>
Animals that closely resemble humans.
Not really.
>>
>>53853633
They like to hang out and bask in the sun
>>
>>53853659

>Says the abbo

>>53853732

It wasn't but genethically we are not that different, to be honest to most northern spaniards.

>>53853914

>Also they like bombs

That's not "in" anymore, man. ETA is kill.

>>53853930

Idaho, Nevada and California have a big basque diaspora. Boise, in Idaho is super basque.

And yes, the people that went there were mostly shepards.

>>53856942

Mostly this.

>>53859554

"Animals" have better indexes than you in every possible way. So you're worse than an animal.

Basques arent spaniards becuase they are trully white and not moor rapebabies
>>
>>53859554
So why are they one of the most prosperous region in Spain while poor Castilians and Andalusians suffer from unemployment?
>>
>>53859953
They are neolithic farmers from the middle east.

>The Basques are not direct descendants from hunter-gatherers of 10,000 years ago; instead, they have more recent genetic links to early Iberian farmers

Also being next to France instead of Portugal or Morocco helps.
>>
>>53861248

Much less than the rest of iberians.

>>53861273

Excuses. Back in the days it was the door to the Americas, but money wasn't invested in anything worthy. Why is then Galicia or Asturias poorer when they have France and United Kingdom near by boat?
>>
>>53853633
They are French

That's by 4000BCE though, Sardinia is a well known Neolithic-like island nowadays for instance, the Basque country probably went through the same fate and got colonized, they very much look Neolithic as well.
It's interesting since bronze age invaders from the steppe left minimal to no contributions in Sardinia, It would've been nice if it actually stayed a Mesolithic island full of western hunter gatherers. Shame tbqh.

Our independentists like them. I don't care personnaly
>>
>>53853633
They are.
But they are a minority in their own country right now. Everyone in Basqueland who wants "peace" with Spain is simply not a native Baque but an immigrant from Spain.

Basques should bomb all the Spains out of their land.
>>
>>53853633

there was a basque manager at the hotel i used to work at. i guess he was a typical Mediterranean person, really hot blooded, loved soccer. he was an ok manager.
>>
>>53853659

basques have a lot of near eastern blood brought to europe in the neolithic along with farmers from the middle east.
>>
>>53862468
Beeing from Basqueland is not making you a Basque.
Basque blood is rare nowadays.

Did he play esku-huskako pilota ?
>>
How different is Basque languge from regular spanish?
>>
>>53862678

Totally. Spanish is a Romance Language while Basque is not even Indo European.
>>
>>53861835
>actually stayed a Mesolithic island full of western hunter gatherers. Shame tbqh

the closest we have to that are the baltic states and fins
>>
>>53862769
But it has lot of Spanish infulence, right?
>>
>>53861835

forgot pic
>>
>>53853633
They are famous for their Basquerville hound
>>
>>53862805
In some words, yes. Also in the way it's written.
>>
>>53862398
Ironically basques were always the most loyal lapdogs to the crown of Castile. Always fighting alongside them when catalonians, galicians or other castilians revolted. All this muh independence we cavemen nao was invented by Sabino Arana.
>>
>>53862593
>esku-huskako pilota

he only ever talked about soccer and cricket.
>>
>>53862775
>>53862896
It has to be said they cluster heavily with WHG when you don't consider specifically another European hunter gatherer like population like the eastern hunter gatherers or the new caucasian hunter gatherers.
I mean an Iberian-like WHG like those who probably roamed Sardinia back then would've been swarthy as fuck with not even white skin genes, it would've been quite the subject to observe compared to Baltics.
>>
>>53862805
In the same sense as the germanic and slavic languages are full of greek and latin words.
>>
Is it true that many Welsh and Irish people descend from Basque sailors?

The Roman historian Tacitus mentions that the Silures tribe (located in modern-day south Wales) were quite swarty in appearance and had curly dark hair, similar to Iberians.
>>
>>53862805

It has lots of loans words, but it is common in every bordering language. For instance, spanish has five vowels because of the basque sustrate. Also the latin conversion from f to h is a basque influence, and so on.

>>53862936

KEK

>>53862970

How?

>>53863065

Yeah, sure. You truly know a lot of history...
>>
>>53863238

No, it is not true. At least, not directly.

It is believed that after the last big glaciation, the western european cavemen took refuge in the area of nowadays Basque Country and once the ice started to melt they expanded through western Europe.
>>
>>53863238
By iberians I think he meant the actual iberian tribes.
>>
>>53863124

I bet natives in Ireland, Spain, Italy, Russia etc all looked distinct because they had thousands of years to adapt.
>>
>>53863328
>once the ice started to melt they expanded through western Europe.

I see, so there is an ancient connection but it dates back to just after the Ice Age, genes would have changed since then, making modern Iberians and other western europeans genetically distinct.

>>53863365
Yes, when you look at notable Welsh celebrities like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tom Jones, Michael Sheen.. They all have that sort of Iberian appearance.
>>
>>53853633
They are cheap and full of themselves. They remind me of the Dutch in some ways.
>>
>>53863605
How did you meet basques?
>>
>>53863745
I lived in Bilbao. I am not Montenegrin.
>>
>>53863558

Depends on what you call genethics.

Last Glaciation happened around 100.000 years ago. And since then, several Haplogroups have appeared. But those haplogroups are patrilineal. Those lineages are rather different all across europe, but yet, the R1b one is the most common among western european countries (British Islands, Iberia, France or Low Countries). If we look at the matrilineal one, most europeans are H.

To sum up, while there are some obvious divergences, we are after all very similar.
>>
>>53863899

Where are you from, mate?

While I agree that for a non local, we can look like very full of ourselves, it is more a facade than a reality.

About being cheap, I definitely call this BS. On the contrary, basques are well known for being overly generous and little worried of money if they can share it with friends.

We have many defects, but being cheap is not one of them.
