I like this
there's also a high chance von Neumann listened to this a lot because he listened to German marching music all the time
Ours of course.
Isten áld meg a magyart
Nyújts feléje védő kart
Ha küzd ellenséggel
Balsors kit régen tép
Hozz reá víg esztendőt
Megbűnhődte már e nép
a múltat s jövendőt
Ours to be honest famitachi
It's a perfectly logical language, which is easy to learn.
Romania's fitting, we just haven't delivered. Two hundred years of pressing the snooze button on waking up.
IDK mate, but hungarian always amused me as well. It just has this... IDK... midget sound to it.
It doesn't help that I can distinctly recall an Orban speech about secuiclay which finished along the linkes of "autonomy tok tok"
Like others said, Russia, but I like the French and German anthems as well(but I haven't heard/don't remember many others)
Also why isn't Rule Britannia the UK's national anthem it's top tier it would easily be on my shortlist
my friend studied one whole year in Budapest and he said it's like a mixture of slavic languages, turkish and some straight up nonsense, I don't think he learned more than 20 words total.
French and Rule Britannia
and definitely Scotland the Brave
We have nothing in common with the slavs gramatically.
And neither with the turks.(and the mongols too)
We borrowed a few words, but nothing else.
No,it is fully logical.
It sounds beautifull.
I really hate communism, but I've to admit Communists always make GOAT tier propaganda song.
You don't stand, unless you want to be considered a NADSI OMFG!!11XDXD
But seriously, nobody dares standing up EXCEPT in football matches, where people are drunk and it's a fucking disgrace.
BY THE DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like some gundam OST
Soviet Union (not the modern Russian anthem, that one's less impressive), then France.
Ireland's is cool because of muh heritage, also it sounds basically like a pop song because it's never sung by choirs, like the American anthem.
The old Kazakhstan anthem was great, if that even counts as Europe.
Sweden's is good, as is Bulgaria and Greek Macedonia.
Most of the Soviet Republics' anthems are underrated, in terms of European ones, Soviet Lithuania's anthem was good.
There's a lot of anthems I've never listened to though.
