European cuisine power rankings 2016
NEW DATA HYPE
modern british cuisne is fucking amazing
>(portuguese restaurants are banned in CE)
>British food is great and much better than, for example, French food.
Why are you fucking retarded?Have you ever tasted portuguese food?go fuck yourself, ask spaniards or other people take came here and they'll tell you and:
scandinavians cuisine/pole is shit.
you must be baiting at this point
>known around the globe
I literally haven't ever heard about Czech or Serbian cuisine
But you're biased on that statement since you are english.
Truth is your food tends to be tasteless on average, whereas you can eat good food nearly everywhere in say, France, Italy or Spain
POLISH FOOD IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD
FUCK OFF BRITBONGS
And you are biased because you are not English.
>whereas you can eat good food nearly everywhere in say, France, Italy or Spain
I have visited these countries enough to know that their food is quite bad and unappetising.
>yeah, their cusines are original(goulash, shopski salad etc.) and progressive in many ways
>bulgarian cusine is fucking meh, just meat on sticks
wtf this is all serbian cuisine is known for
Denmark should be meh tier. Id say Denmark is slightly ahead of Sweden when it comes to food. Swedish and Danish food is alright, Finnish, Icelandic and Norwegian food sucks hard.
czech cusine is little uderrated and soooooo popular
every time I am abroad and said that I am from czechia all people inviting me to their home to show them how to cook
but I always refused bcs czech cusiine is very hard to cook(gordon ramsey once said that czech cuisine is mt. everest for every chef) and its our national secret
HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE
HAVE YOU EVER TASTED BRITISH FOOD?
HOLY HOT DAMN I LIVED THERE FOR 2 GODDAMN YEARS AND EVERYTHING BUT FISH N CHIPS SUCKS ASS. ALL OF IT. ITS ALL FUCKING BOILED.
"HEY MUM WOTS FER DINDIN"
"OH WE ERR HAVIN BOILT POTATOES FOR SOME BOILT MASH ALONG WITH BOILT EVERYTHING FUCKIN ELSE"
no but for real everything fucking sucks there.
>every time I am abroad and said that I am from czechia all people inviting me to their home to show them how to cook
We have a lot of exchange students and I hang around with a Czech friend, I literally never heard anyone in my life say this
you're making shit up lad
FOR FUCK SAKE STOP WITH THE MEMES YOUR MISINFORMATED FUCK
Where the fuck did you live that boiling was the standard?
Nah, it all goes down to personal opinion. General opinion simply cannot overrule the personal in matters of taste.
Fuck off Yank.
This is but a matter os statistics mate.
Different people from diferent backgrounds throwing in their opinions on things they're not yet conditioned to experience weights more than yours in this specific case.
I swear to God I'm not trolling you, it' just the way it is.
Honestly the only things I know about Portuguese food are from when I visited Macau a few years ago. It's good, but it's not the best.
What you posted though looks like Chinese claypot rice and I hate that shit.
British food is a greasy slush of meat and dough. The less the Brits touch the ingredients the better it usually is.
>god tier cuisines
Most medi food in general
Can't be bothered to fill out the rest. In any case, Brit food=shit, most germanic food=shit, most slav food=shit
>greasy yellow rice with the meat flavour
Sounds a lot like southern Chinese food. I hate it. (see >>53729559)
I grew up eating greasy rice maybe once every week and the thought of it makes me want to puke.
>18yo students opinion
I spend last two years traveling aroud the world and czech suisine is sooooooooo loved
I was called Mr. Knodel in Argentina
one tribe in Phillipines elected me as mayor for my cooking skills, just ceremenonial role but still cool imho
>UK, Czech Rep, Greece, Serbia, Romania
I'm not saying that these countries have a bad cuisine but it's not better than their neighbours'.
Except Britain. Their cuisine is utter shit.
>pork in the mix
Why are americans so fucking retarded?
i can't post food with pork here because you're probably a muslims so you've never tasted it.40% of portuguese food involves pork and the best recipes have pork in it but have this
first of all that's fucking generic shit, but whatever.
sure it doesn't look great and could be prepared nicer but it does taste good.
however what you labelled a "delicacy" makes ppl puke. nice try sven
there is nithing like this in other A-U countries
Now I don't know really about British food, but French food isn't nothing exceptional, so it could be. French food is mediocre, as their language and anything French, it's just that ignorant people with teen mentality falls for the "oh làlà français que belle fleur" shit meme and think France it's great, while in reality it's nothing, it's a vapid land full of flavourless "people".
Indeed french food is usually kept in high regards only by american hipster "muh high sophisticated" cuisine faggots: this says a lot about french cuisine, and in general french "culture".
didn't even think you were serious to begin with, I just imagined you mumbling "it's a delicacy" defensively and that made me crack up irl.
i know that actual swedish food is delish
then have this.
go search :''cozido à portuguesa'' and ''alheira de mirandela''
here's portuguese food that was adopted im malacca(malaysia),we've exported alot of stuff to those regions
Went to Malacca for a school trip in elementary school, literally all they served was Portuguese food.
I think I had the one in the middle, it was quite tasty. I'm not a fan of seafood though.
daily reminder that the british food is bad meme was spun by the japanese just so that they could jerk off the frogs even more
>spun by the japanese
You're a relatively northerly island that traditionally had to preserve food over the winter, your food is logically bland and pales in comparison to southern continental Europe.
What was the last food you made, /int/? I baked pic related.
>tfw your country is next to burger and has enough immigrants that you can find the food of just about every nationality here
Tfw we have the best food in the world because we steal everyone else's
>Well, I actually am a grill,
>but I don't see how it's faggy for a guy to bake.
The better it looks, the unhealthier it is.
Our food is not that special, but at least it's healthy. Nowadays fast food is taking over, but no one ever skips the vegetable soup during midday.
I'm actually a decent cook. But mashing potatoes and carrots in a big pot and sticking a sausage in it is hardly cuisine. Googling typical Dutch cuisine results in worstenbroodjes, stamppot, anything potato related and fish. The only Dutch cuisine that is actually decent are our desserts, treats, venison and sometimes beef.
>national dish is knedliky
Negře, prosím. This shit tastes like that cheap and nasty white bread that only fat cunts on the other side of the Atlantic would ever eat. By far the worst starch and it isnt like there are many things redeeming about the cuisine otherwise. Plus you marked Lithuania and Croatia as shit tier when they have glorious dishes such as saltibarsciai, silke su svogunais/bulvemis and Croatia, well their food is the best of Hungary/Balkans together.
>Not adding potato to everything
You also have cookies with spices, speculoos almond etc.
We have lots of good bread and bread spreads.
Lots of milk and dairy products.
Dinners like witloof with ham and cheese, capercijneschotel etc.
Lots of fast food. Kroketten, pindasaus etc.
Lots of sea food. From kibbeling tor paling.
Lots of Dutch candies.
You can meme about hutspot all day, but that just shows your ignorance about the matter.
Pic related is tochitură moldovenească, bits of porkchop sausage and liver with spices, romanian cheese and one fried egg(for the earthiness) on mămăligă(it acts as a wheeler)
This is tripe soup, you either love it or hate it and i for one love it
This is a traditional platter here in the region of moldova, it is smoked pork and venisen, pastrami sausages smoked fat, etc with some vegetables
>eating a smoked platter without onion
>calls himself a man
Eastern bros 4 life
This is turkey and mushroom ciulama, with mămăligă of course
Let's not forget MICI, some people people will say we took this from the turks but we made small adjustments and we don't put spikes in mici, we out them all in turks
Keep in mind these should only be eaten with mustard
That might be the case in albania, but my kosovar friend literally served me a slab of oven-baked dough. He called it "fli" or "flee", don't know if that's the proper name of the dish Granted, it's surprisingly tasty but it's far from healthy.
Fortunately an other Dutchie who knows how to cook. If there is something typical on the cuisine I think it is the use of bitter tasting vegetables like Brussels sprouts, kale, witlof, asparagus and andive. Most of the time eaten with smoked bacon, cheese and milk sauces and herbs like bonenkruid (savory), parsly and marjolien. Meatdishes as stoofvlees/hachee, hazenpeper and venison all containing cloves (which I don't see a lot in other cuisines). And the fish of course and I think we are allowed to call oysters Dutch cuisine. And then there are is all the pastry, cookies and candy. Quite a lot for a country this small. The whole "German cuisine" is from Bayern or Austria. So fuck off and don't listen to those poor peasants claiming frikandel is "Dutch cuisine".
Hutspot is a memefood, please stop posting.
Was it this? I agree that it can be very greasy, but because of it, they eat it occasionally.
>I'm no doctor but, [completely baseless conclusion citing "common sense"]
Why do people do this? If you don't know then don't say anything, the world isn't as black and white as "common sense" would have you believe.
Czech cusine is pretty good, but too much pork and little vegetables. I hate our sweet food (except blueberry dumplings)
Muh fish and chips
Raw herring with onion is delicious af
