>mfw latin america got netflix before eastern europe
who's third world now huh
the amount of american products and companies in a country is a good way of measuring how globalized that country is
give it time
brazilian netflix was also shit and improved over time
>look through Netflix catalog
>only memeseries availlable
>can watch better movies at TCM channel
>can find more selection at a dvd club (RIP)
best things in life are for free anyways, if you get what i mean
Computer illiteracy. Most people use Spotify for music, which is a music streaming program. Still if I really like a film, I'll buy it on BR (or DVD if not on BR).
I did so with all of Herzog's films and the like. Not sure why anyone would want to stream especially due to >>53381925.
>25.99 million subscribers outside USA
>7 billion people in the world minus USA
>less that 0.5% of the world's population outside USA subscribe to Netflix
It seems to be a successful business model, but I wouldn't call it popular. I'd say piracy is far more common.
>because its immoral
this bait is so tasty i couldn't help taking a bite
here's your (You)
i don't know if christianity reached paraguay yet of you still follow indigenous religions, but there are people who actually go to church you know
if they heard their coworkers talk about it they might use it
but lots of younger people are computer illiterates too, especially when it comes to downloading things
joke's on you, i'm kopimist
joke's on him, i'm kopimist
>bragging about the international expansion of a company that isnt even yours
Actually, it's simple: convenience
Idk about Netflix, but with Spotify the company actual went to music torrenters with a few lifetimes of music and asked "What *don't* you have? What would you be willing to pay for?"
And they found that while pirates had a fuckton of music, they couldn't bring it all with them every day. Even if you take the time to switch the music on your phone/ iPod everyday (a pain in the ass btw) you're still only bringing a small fraction of it with you at any given time.
Im a 27 year old comp sci grad with 10 TB of pirated shit. That's ~5 TB of HD movies/ TV shows, 2 TB of FLAC music, and 3 GB of software, ebooks, manuals and porn on 5 internal drives with backup drives for RAID 0. I know how to pirate, but I still pay for netflix because I can literally watch it anywhere.
There is literally no way for me to take a that shit with me for less than $10 a month. I watch movies and TV in HD when I'm at home, but if I'm not at my desktop I use netflix. I don't use spotify because it isn't good enough for my patrician ears
PS this 'Netflix is for normies meme' is retarded 2bh. Is it because it requires money and NEETfags can't even cough up $10? Pls explain
>I don't know why you're shilling for netflix this hard anyway
Brazilians absorb only the worst the American culture has to offer. Brazilians are all obsessed with netflix, starbucks and subway.
>because I can literally watch it anywhere.
this is actually the only real reason to use it, simply because iOS and Android are supremely retarded when it comes to controlability, especially in terms of pirated shit.
On he other hand, people who use Netflix purely on their TV/PC and say it's because of convenience are retarded luddites who don't know how to utilise contemporary technology aka plebs.
