Now, this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down

Well, uh, the caravan landed and when I came out
There was a dude look like a muṭawwiʿ standin' wavin' my name out
I ain't tryin' to get arrested yet, I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared
I whistled for my horse and when it came near
The saddle said fresh and had a dice in the rear
If anything I could say that this horse was rare
But I thought, nah forget it, yo home to Cordoba
I pulled up to the house about seven or eight
And I yelled to my horse, "Yo homes, smell you later"
Looked at my Caliphate, I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Caliph of Cordoba

I know it was mediocre. I was honestly hoping someone, probably from /MENA/, who actually knows more about Islamic/African culture could really adapt it better. Like I don't know enough Arabic words to rhyme when I needed to, so I had to change the end of a line to "come right ova'" to rhyme with Cordoba for example.

I needed it to rhyme. I couldn't find anything to replace the original there/Bel Aire. If I went with Lisbon, the line before it would have to end with something that also rhymes with Lisbon. I figured ova'/Cordoba was the best I could get when I was writing this while bored in the car.
