I don't know why, we don't see many Spanish here in Portugal. The boarder was kinda close till 1975 or 1984 don't know. So the "racemixing" only could happen from people from the border or people from recent times.

According to genealogy my ancestors have been Finns for at least 400 years. Originally living in what is now Swedish Lapland and slowly moving towards Eastern Finland. Mother's side may have some Sami blood from a long time ago.

As far as I know, it's pretty hard compared to other Nordic countries. Most people that immigrate get married to a Faroese citizen and get easy passage that way. I've no experience with the system, myself, so I can't really give you a complete answer.
