It hasn't snowed heavily for about five years, hasn't snowed at all yet this winter. Basically it costs too much to be prepared for something that only happens for a week or two every few years.

Our weather has been completely fucked recently btw, all-time records keep dropping (December was by far the warmest ever, and also the wettest on record).
