There's only one Portuguese and it's what the Portuguese people speak.
Brazilian "Portuguese" is more like a primitive ape language derived from Portuguese but more retarded so that slaves and their decendants (pretty much every Brazilian today) could speak more naturally.
I've never compared European PT to French to think that.
All I can say is that spoken BR PT has the emphasis on the vowels whereas European PT has a more strong pronunciation on the consonats
I thought you meant the people so I am going to stick with that and say Brazilians. Have met alot of bro Brazilians but the only Portuguese I have met have been old ladies who were a bit rude to me.
